At least with a hurricane, you get plenty of warning. Tornados are scary cause they just pop up and then poof, they're gone. Course if there is a chance of them forming, the weathermen get just as crazy.

Random reporter standing in a hailstorm, "Look they're the size of quarters.
Random reporter standing by the interstate, "It sure is raining hard here. And just look at those clouds!"
Then about five more reporters in different parts of the metroplex all saying the same thing.
And of course there's always, "Look at this picture of a tornado one of our viewers sent us!" Have none of these dummies ever heard of photoshop?
