I actually don't think Kat has any internet poll support. If you look around, she's under most everyone in terms of "who is your favorite?" But, you are right that she isn't high on the most hated either. If you actually go by internet polls, Rachel has the most fans, followed by Rex (who is #1 on the most hated now that Nicole is gone.)

But, I don't think the normal public is going to go out of their way to vote Rachel as the winner. I still think it's going to be a face off between Darnell and Mikey.

I know people bitch at me about these things when I go into them...but honestly? Pete had the same shtick and even got incredibly negative and manipulative throughout the series. But his gimmick won it for him because he was male. As much as I hate Brian, I can't say the same for him since his stupidity was genuine. I honestly think he's a certifiable retard.

But had the "cookie monster" been a fat guy? I honestly think he could have sailed through to the finale. Women are held to a much higher standard. And I am NOT the biggest Kat fan. I like Kat/Rachel's friendship, but I find Kat to be really manipulative. I'm just saying...

And if you don't wanna hear it in terms of Kat. Look at Sara. Someone who is a really cool person but because of her GENDER is held to a higher, more difficult standard of behavior to maintain. So when people bitch at me about Kat dropping because of her manipulation...blah blah. I just roll my eyes, because Pete did the same thing, if not worse. Lest we forget "If I don't win, I won't believe in God" shtick that clenched him the title. He won on night one. Kat could never do that, because SHE IS FEMALE. End of. I honestly think we're only going to see another female winner during a short series and/or a season where every male is really really arrogant and comes across that way.

eta: I mostly prefer female contestants on shows, but I am in no way someone who wants a female winner even if they aren't the best option. But the fact is, we've lost out on a lot of interesting characters because of the public's disdain for women. Aisleyne was far more interesting and important to the series than Pete ever was. Granted, I think Glyn should have won that series, but Aisleyne never stood a chance.

Likewise, Camilla in season 6 of BB AU losing out to 8+ incher Jamie, solely because of Jamie's dick size. His "sensitive poem" crap was NONSENSE. One only had to see the week he and Katie were nominated to see his true demeanor. And anyone who thought those poems were in anyway deep needs to stop reading Dr. Seuss. And likewise in Season 5, when Vesna lost out to Logan ...whichever bogan was in the finals. (Again, she should have been next to Tim where he won, but that's moot).

So yeah, I often criticize the public for ignoring the female characters. Because it's frustrating. Too many people are misogynistic fuck tards who think women are automatically less interesting for being women. And if not, then they're sluts if they act at all sexual. I'm a huge prud when it comes to reality TV, and have hated most overtly sexual women. But Sara as a whore? WTF Britain. It's just really annoying and frustrating to see that in all of these series where a woman can basically only win if she's stupid as cow shit. A token tranny. Or completely not threatening.

Hopefully, it'll be a double eviction which would get us down to six for finale night.

Ooh, haven't you heard? It's gonna be four. Or five, we aren't exactly sure. We think someone leaves this Wednesday. But we know for sure two people leave the Tuesday before the finale. Which means there will either be four or five for finale night. Which I'm thrilled about. As long as Rachel doesn't get bumfucked as a result of this.
