I'd been prepared to laugh at it, but it's pretty cool. I warmed to the winter halfpipe, I think the same thing's going to happen here. Anyhow, for lovers of the Modern Pentathalon, here's how it'll shake out. The events in sequence: Shooting (4.5mm air pistol event consisting of 20 shots fired at 20 targets) Fencing (epee, 36 person round robin, one hit wins) Swimming (200m freestyle) Riding (350-450m stadium course with 12 obstacles including a double jump and a triple jump. This is the section where the poor schmucks get a more or less random horse.) Running (3000m, handicap based on rankings of overall points -- first across the finish line wins) NBC video schedule: 8/20 8:30p Modern Pentathlon 8/20 10:00p Modern Pentathlon 8/21 2:30a Modern Pentathlon 8/21 5:00a Modern Pentathlon There's no way I'm going to be able to spend that night watching it, but if anyone can, please report back.

She has a higher batting average than anyone in the MLB and has hit more home runs than most of the top players in the MLB just in these first 8 games. They dominated the entire tournament and decided to let their fans have a good game. They made it close and then shut those mother fuckers out with a Bustos homer! USA USA USA!

Annika <3. It's a disapointment she's leaving the tour. It's going straight to hell since she was basically the headliner of the tour. I actually teared up when she hit the eagle from 200 yards during her final shot ever at the US Open. In terms of softball, we definately have glamorous people on our team:

The better the company does, the more money shareholders and employees have, the company expands creating jobs, etc - more people have money to invest and yes, give away to charitable causes. We can go on and on but its basic economics. But why are you posting on the internet? Wouldn't it be better to use the $1,500 for your pc and the $30/month you pay for internet service to help wayward transgendered squirrels rid the world of landmines? Cynthia Potter is without a doubt one of the best diving commentators around, she really knows diving better than anyone. Not to mention she is such a sweet person and incredibly supportive of every diver. I am a diver and have been around diving my whole life; I am astounded by how well she is able to call the dives. She can pick up the slightest mistakes, which btw she is paid to do. Not to mention the Chinese Men are no where near as good as the Chinese woman divers. X on the props for Cynthia Potter. If you disagree with her, fine, but everything she says is right up there on the screen as clear as can be... Vent, did you watch the preliminaries and the semifinals for the men's springboard event? Cynthia was WAY harsh on Alexandre Despatie. She repeatedly said that he hadn't yet shown her enough to suggest that he could spoil for China. And why, exactly, does her alleged favoritism for a CANADIAN diver over Chinese divers make her an "Americunt"? In case you didn't realize it, Canada and U.S.A. are not the same country... It's not like you even allege that she showed favoritism for the American divers... diving4gold, I'm going to disagree with you about the last line. Perhaps in general, the Chinese men aren't as strong as the women (although I haven't seen that at these games), but in this event, He was THE strongest performer I've seen yet from China or any country in these Olympics. He was pretty much flawless in the prelims, then got even better in the semis and better still in the finals. I've never seen that many dives with so few errors.
