Many people on reality shows have shown themselves to be disgusting both in and out of reality tv, but there are also just as many where we can't say that. Jonny Fairplay has a private life, and he keeps it private, so we can assume that his asshole routine is just an act. Many people have said this to be true, and it is also probably true of most rtv "stars".

Posts: 2471 (08/16/08 1:11 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Craig did a pretty good job in the beginning, partly because I thought he was "too obvious" of a choice, such a built in excuse to screw things up being so out of shape. I suspected him right away, but dismissed it because of that. But, in the last few episodes before the finale, I thought he was really obvious, and a couple of times, just the look on his face gave him away. It certainly wasn't going to be Mark, and I never really thought it was Nicole either, since when she messed up I almost always thought she was trying to "act like the mole" to throw others off. It was a good season though, because except for the first show, and the last few, I was stumped.

However, once I got up, I saw that Jon had more money in his jacket. My plan was to sit as long as possible until ALL the money was on the table. Ali got up at 30. You and I said we'd go for it in a New York minute... at the right price. I was pretty sure Jon had more money to offer but Ali couldn't count on someone else not standing up so $30K was her magic number. I think you and I said $40 - $50 would satisfy our needs temporarily. :) I may have beat Ali to the jump though. That was a sure thing! $$$

You can't outplay anybody, if you never really get in the game And why are you so eager to save a show, you say you were ready to quit so many times (which I really find laughable, considering you're not asked to live under any sort of hardship, a la Survivor)? Especially when you're so callous about it not doing that well (which I chalk up to the craptastic time slot it was given) What a crock! Time to grow up and start being a little more honest with yourself! Guys in production have to deal with the vanities and egos of real actors/actresses every day, and generally have the patience of Job because of it. If one of them went out of their way to make note of your behavior, the "look at me! look at me!" diva-tude must've been out of control! Own your own evil! Oh, and not a sir - but if you were even a smidgen as smart as you claim (over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over, ad nauseam) to be, you would've already known that Welcome to Sucks Liz - you did those of us in the "Old Bag" contingent around here proud!

No question! Much more difficult to predict what real people will do in unreal situations than scripted drama/comedy, and as such, is kinda interesting. Shows that have strategic gameplay involved.....endlessly fascinating; like watching a chess game played with people instead of gamepieces. But it's far more interesting when real people behave like real people, and not like people who believe they're actually "starring" in life and demand the focus be on them all the time This place is the antipodal mecca for all reality TV. It hates to love, and loves to hate reality TV. And it has a long, proud history of not suffering fools lightly (which is where you come in). If you could manage to tear yourself away from the loud, sucking noises in your "lurve" thread for more than five minutes, you might actually find some incredibly smart people who are wickedly funny, and come from all walks of life - many, many, many, many of whom put yours to shame But don't do it, unless you're willing to play the game, and...oopsies, looky who I'm talking to. You've already proven your fear of and intimidation by any real gameplay Much easier to pretend you're above it all and don't care - oh, and easier to make judgments about people who you've not only never met, but who you haven't spent eleven weeks watching them deliberately make cartoon characters of themselves on TV for millions of people Wait - is that the sound of more sanctimonious hypocrisy flying by? I don't talk like an old Suckster because I don't have the required verbal talent, but I appreciate a good Suckster when I see one. You miss, are not one.
