Here is not only fine, it's what's best, because everybody can see exactly who you've picked. If they're posted right here in the thread, they're indisputable.

Good question. No, the kickoff of the very first game of the week is NOT a factor.

In short, you can change a pick for any of your three games as long as the game you're wanting to change hasn't kicked off. The only thing I ask is that you either edit your original picks, or make the change in a new post, as described below:


Let's say that you initially choose a Thursday night game, and two Saturday games.

- If you want to make a change to any/all of your picks before the first game (the Thursday night game, in this example) has kicked off, feel free to just edit your original post, and just change them outright. This'll work fine because the timestamp of your edit will be before any of the three games have started.

- However, if you decide you want to pick a different game to replace one of your Saturday picks, but an earlier game (in this case, the Thursday game that you'd chosen) has already kicked off, just make a new post and let us know which game from your original 3 you're replacing, and who you're choosing to replace it. You could replace both of your original Saturday game picks if you wanted to, as well.


The bottom line: if a game hasn't already started, you can replace it.



One of the big things I like about this game is that a person isn't screwed if they 'miss' a game, which happened on occasion last year. In this game, if you forget to make your picks until 1 PM on Saturday, you're fine - you still have a big slate of games that haven't kicked-off yet to choose from. You can even miss an entire week or two, or more, and still be completely in the running.

I also like how it'll be interesting to see how diverse people's picks will be, which throws a neat tangent into the game.
