By far, the best outfits of the night were the top three. The judges actually got it right. Love Terri, though brilliantly executed, her outfit wasn't as innovative as Leanne, Korto, and Jerrel.

Leanne wins hands down for the bizarrely flattering shape of her dress. It really could've backfired on her, but it didn't. Mainly, because the dress was the right length. If it had been longer her model would've looked like a hippo. Leanne also has an amazing model too which helps ALOT.

Which leads me to Korto. Even though some claim that she essentially makes the "same basic design and only switch the fabric up", she does it well enough that it appears more like a narrative than repetition. If she had been a less skilled seamstress she could not have pulled off that look. Try to hate on her all you want but then look at Blayne's hot mess and realize what could've gone wrong and didn't. It also doesn't help that her model looks miserable in almost everything she puts on, even her own clothes. So the fact that Korto continues to impress, despite her model being a sour faced dud is no small feat. I really didn't expect her to continue to do so well. I thought she was a flash in the pan. But she is proving herself to be an integral part of what I deem the "Bitches of Project Runway" this season, that include Terri, Kenley, and Stella. I don't think that there have every been this many viable final four female designers on one season, especially ones with actual personalities. And they all bring the bitch in their own way. Korto's constant bitchface regardless of whether she wins or not is hysterical. Nothing can please this bitch and I LOVE IT! I guess her and her model are well suited for each other. Anyway, her coat is the right length and cinched into a flattering silhouette.

Jerrel continues to surprise as well. And his bitchy retort about Terri last night was gold. I'm stull unsure about his consistency though. But I like the way he mixes different textures. And though I thought his outfit last night was devine, I don't think it looked as effortless as Leanne's or Korto's.


I ended up overjoyed that my beefcake daddy, Keith, was auf'd. My discontent with him started early on in the episode when his pity party began. Throughout the entire episode the chorus among my friends was "GO HOME, KEITH!" The least the producers could've given us was a few early morning shirtless Keith moments, but I think they wanted us to hate him. I certainly hated him by the end. But now the only eye candy left is Kenley, Leanne when she puts on makeup, and Terri's wig.

Oh and Terri's bitch persona is finally emerging. It will make for an exciting finale, becuase I can't imagine she won't go all the way to Bryant Park. Her uber-confidence will either be justified or smack of hubris. So far she's hasn't had any doubt over her designs and I'm hoping to see some cracks in that fascade as the competition intensifies.

I kind of feel sorry for Kenley that she lost her model. But she's going to have to raise her game soon because this under the radar strategy isn't going to work for very long.

I also didn't believe that Stella was in any danger of going home last night. I thought the bottom two would be Blayne and Keith for sure. That would've been more suspenseful. Would the boring, unfocused design send Keith home? Or would Blayne's dress for a circus tits endowed woman be his downfall? That showdown didn't happen and when Keith had a hissy fit on the runway with the judges his fate was sealed.

I think the show has picked up some definite creative and entertaining momentum since the Drag Queen challenge last week. I hope it continues.
