MSNBC and NBC News
updated 14 minutes ago WASHINGTON - Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain has chosen Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, NBC News has learned. She would be the first woman ever to serve on a Republican presidential ticket. The pro-life Palin would also be the first Alaskan ever to appear on a national ticket. Palin, 44, was elected Alaska's first woman governor in 2006. The state's voters had grown weary of career politician Gov. Frank Murkowski, whom she defeated in the GOP primary. |

Obama's daughters are cuter than Palin's daughters. I mean, since we're being completely superficial (see youfist's post above).

So McLame picked someone who is younger than Obama and with even less foreign policy experience solely for the reason that the person lacks a penis.

Palin was a purely reactionary choice. McCain would never have chosen her in a million years had it not been for the Hillary division. Of the four
candidates (Obama/McCain/Biden/Palin) she is the least qualified in almost every way.

Hmm. Wonder what Hilary's (private) reaction will be knowing that she won't be the first woman in the white house?
I bet she sucked the air out of the room she was in when she found out. |

that's a given
and it'll make McCain look even older standing next to her even Kaye Bailey would have been a better choice |

The Obama camp needs to be REAL careful throwing around the "not experienced" tag.

Looks like McCain on trying to cash in on the angry feminists, but I'm going to refrain from saying anything else until I get to know a bit about her.
