Please, number of years is a pretty crude measure. Give me a state senate over Wasilla city council any day. Anyway, arguing over who's less experienced misses the point that it kind of kills McCain's experience argument. And while I don't generally care about the VP, it matters slightly more considering McCain's age, history of cancer, and the fact that his ability to run for a 2nd term seems doubtful. She just seems like such a lightweight considering the higher risk of her ascending to the presidency. |

If she really was, she would try to take out John McCain, and have Natalie from Micronesia her VP. |

But I also don't assume that all religious people are dumb.WHOA!!! STOP RIGHT THERE! I have never said or even implied that I think religious people are dumb. I think creationists are dumb. They are a sub-species who I do not lump in with the average religious person. Religious beliefs should have nothing to do with science. The problem with creationists is that there are vast amounts of scientific data that contradict their BELIEFS, and NO SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT for their BELIEFS, and yet they ignore this totally and promote the idea that religion should be taught in science class. That's a no-no. The world was NOT created 6000 years ago, and anyone who believes it was is...yes...ignorant. You are so "scientific". Really, mom? Are you a creationist? Do tell. |

SNL will use the new chick. They don't need Fey.

Its kinda like Harriet Miers being considered as a Supreme Court nominee Weird. I literally talked to somebody on the phone no less than ten minutes ago who called Palin the "Harriet Miers" choice. |

How random would it be if John McCain dies of old age in office and she of all people is the first woman president? The dems would be so crushed that their
party of change couldn't even get the first women elected <3!

The only thing more random would be Bush and Cheney both dying soon, allowing Pelosi to be president for a few months. <3
Clinton vs Palin '12 will be the most epic catfight in the history of the universe. |

The dems would be so crushed that their party of change couldn't even get the first women elected I'm glad it amuses you having the beauty queen mayor of a small town being given the nuclear option. Ah, but we got back at the Dems! |

SNL can use the new girl and run the "I look like Tina Fey" line into the ground, and then three weeks in Fey will do a walk-in during Update and
talk to "herself".

Oooh boy - it's sounding like the religious right is loving this choice - they are getting all motivated (apparantly hugging and relieved etc)
