I'm not noticing a difference with the speed... Exactly the same as Firefox, I think? How are we supposed to notice a millisecond or two difference? I do
like it though.

The page loading is quicker on my system. Probably not by much at all, but it's slightly noticeable.
Also each tab is it's own individual process. If you load your task manager you'll see chrome.exe for every tab you have opened. That way if one crashes, your entire browser doesn't. And it decreases the load on java intense websites or applets so your system doesn't get too bogged down by having ONE process take up 239823495749573454 MB's. Pretty neat stuff for such an early version. Must have extensions though. MUST. |

i was having a tough time without adblock plus. the bookmarks are also in need of a tweak. i'm trying to figure out if there's stalker capacity for the
'inspect element' aspect. it shows a lot of stuff but it's probably just html stuff

I'm paranoid about my history/cookies/temp files... and people tracking my activities; Although no one really touches my laptop and there's really
nothing to hide. It's my OCD.. So somewhat disappointed that they don't have a clear-private-date-when-browser-closes type option like Firefox.

they have clear private data (though not automatically on closing) and incognito windows where it doesn't even track you were there to begin with

They do - it's called "incognito" mode. It's an option you can enable when you don't want your history and stuff logged.

It doesn't render Yuku's post editor properly.

Meh.
I'll stick with FireFox. |

It's not showing Youtube embeds for me, but for some reason it's fine when I go to youtube.com. And it shows Outlook Webmail in that strange way
Firefox does that makes it hard to use. On the other hand, it's definitely faster than what I've got, and I like the full window thing they have going
on.

It is pretty fast. Other than that, I'm not sure I'm geeky enough to really appreciate/denigrate the difference.

The more I use this the more I like it. Hope they add extensions still though. I haven't used it THAT much, but...I haven't uninstalled it either. And
that's something.

For those of you that like it, when you hit "Add Reply" or quote someone's post, do you see the full Yuku editor, with the proper
bold/italics/links buttons, or are they missing?
Quick reply works ok. |

Nope, the buttons and full editor are missing. That's a known issue though, I've read about it on several "Chrome" reviews now.
I LOVE the history feature - it breaks it down by time and presents the sites in a nice easy list. And the search feature WORKS. Oh and being able to make tabs their own window is amazing. |
