It's all so risky. That's been Dan's game, high risk, high reward. That's why I keep hoping he'll win even though I know there's a very good chance he won't (he may not even make F2). I just hope Memphis wins veto. He's won the last two. It's too bad Dan doesn't know how Memphis will do in the POV.
That's what I'm saying - it would be a risk to all-out throw the competition under the assumption that Jerry would vote to keep Memphis if he won the Veto. Jerry COULD be playing Memphis but there's nothing they can do about that. All they could do was make a move (Dan's choice to nominate Memphis rather than Keesha) to hopefully put it in Jerry's mind that they're definitely not an alliance. That way if Jerry does win it there's a chance Memphis could be safe. Now both Dan and Memphis should try to win the Veto to ensure Memphis comes off the block and his path is clear for the final three.
I agree with what was said about Keesha being hurt if Dan replaces Memphis with her so it would be ideal for Memphis to win himself and then Dan keeps his hands clean but if Dan wins it, he'll have to decide if its worth the risk to trust Keesha to evict Jerry or if he believes in his final-2 deal with Memphis strongly enough to pull Memphis off the block and guaranty him a spot in the final two, all the while assuring Keesha, once again that she's safe and that the plan has always been to get Jerry out.
