Sundra was not even supposed to be on the show. She was actually an alternate after another African-American woman (a civil rights activist, I believe) went batshit crazy and refused to be part of the racial twist in the last minute. They should have told her the tribes were divided at random and she shouldn't make racist assumptions. |

Spencer was an alternate this season, as well. Who else has been an alternate on the show?
Tina Wesson comes to mind. |

I believe Erin Collins was an alternate for some girl in Thailand (who was kicked out for disorderly conduct, if I'm not mistaken). Amy O'Hara was an
alternate for Tina Scheer, who had to leave Guatemala after her son passed away before filming.
