Bump for another season of passive aggressive douchebags for Gordon.

That Peter Pizza guy - I thought we were told he sold his restaurant at the end of the original episode.
My favorite bit was my husband exclaiming over the waiting until the last minute to spring the new menu (or so it appeared.) I said Gordon learned that trick from Marco. (Anyone else watching Hell's Kitchen UK with Marco Pierre White, the chef who taught Ramsey?) |

Would anyone actually eat at any of these shitholes after seeing the show? Gaaack. I know we normally do not get to see how disgusting most restaurants are,
but these are totally out there and nasty as all heck. Thank god they are mostly on the east coast - you guys have em (and the Imodium, too)>

He should have fired that blob Melissa in the kitchen the moment she said she didn't want to be a chef. WTF.

anybody know how long ago that was filmed? Do they film the whole episode in a week?
My sister lives about a mile from there and never saw any film crews or anything on the local news. I'm curious how much money they put in to each of these remodels, I assume that's why the people go through with it, they probably told that guy you either go back and do it or lose the flat screens, new furniture etc. |

That was too tidy an ending given what a jerk the owner was for the majority of the show. I can't wait for the 'revisited' on this one.
When the a-hole owner walked out, and his wife came to the restaurant all, "I dunno what I'm gonna doooooo!" did anyone else think she was drunk? And in general, she reminded me a lot of Stella from PR. Loved the potty-mouthed server who thought that Gordon was sexy "for an old guy". The head chef who doesn't want to be a chef should be on 'Hell's Kitchen' next season. |

The owner was an obvious low-life drunk.
Bet he deals meth on the side and launders it through his restaurant. All those biker-types do. Where does Gordon get this trash? Seems to find a lot of these places on Long Island. |

mysucksname wrote: There is a restaurant in my area that got the Ramsay treatment this past Spring. Our local news started talking about it when it was just a possibility, and they were all a flutter while Gordon was here. The restaurant was told that if they were selected for the show that they would know when the filming crew showed up. They filmed everything over the course of a week, and the restaurant has photos of Ramsay plastered all over the place. I'd eaten there a few times before the remodel and the food was great, and the place had a nice atmosphere too, so I was pretty surprised that the place was selected. I've been back once since and I'm really curious to see the show. They didn't remodel much, so the only major change that I noticed was the menu was much smaller than before. It's more expensive now as well, but food is really good. I hope that it's not one of those bug infested, rotting food gross kitchens. I don't think I could eat there again if it is. |
