Mary Murphy is in rare form and the production of the show looks up to American show. Bre is my first pick to make it to the top 20. This show is definitely showing some great talent and personalities already, and it is only 1/2hr into the initial auditions. My only concern is that it ends up with all the promising talent, and we have a lacklustre follow-through in the finals.

Hopefully we'll get some great personalities for the Top 20.

She was the one that Tre said was the benchmark for the rest of the dancers. Totally reminded me of Allison from season 3(?) Tons of talent, but maybe a bit shy in the personality. Lisa the black and very confident woman is another lock on top 20. I think Jordan the hot and sweet looking contemporary/hip hop guy looks promising, and so does the guy who does parkour (jumping off of buildings). I think his uniqueness will definitely add to the competition. I also think the Brains not bombs girl is named Breanna or Bre, and she is the Kherington look alike and I do see her in top 20 as well. Mary was a great judge on this show. She was more in charge and seemed more open and fun, since she wasn't around old what's his name. It was also extremely raw and intensely emotional when the Defraitus girl and her wept about losing their fathers. That cry that I heard from the young girl was heart wrenching. Also, my partner pointed out how much the male judge sounded exactly like Flex Farley from Canadian Idol. Unfortunate. Nasties out to Blake coming in and throwing the fit because he saw a dancer that he liked that the judges wouldn't put through to his choreography. Props for his choreography, it looked sufficiently difficult to perform for the competitors.

The other two were just kind of "there". And hostess Leah was actually good. There is hope for her after all. O_O I forgot to mention that I also liked gangsta Karl and one of the random black girls. It's going to be a busy fall season for KKKanada.

There were only really two.. the azn jaguar guy, and the cowboy.. both of which I ffwd'd through. I'm pretty impressed with this premiere, I think it'll be a good year. Loved the goddess that danced to India Arie.

Those were most of the standouts for me, but I also liked the ballet guy, I think his name was Shane. The production was top notch, in fact virtually indentical to the U.S version except fewer crap auditions and no Cat Deeley. I'll probably rewatch it just because there were so many dancers that we may be seeing again. And the ballroom chick (red Mohawk's partner) had a great rack. Glad she made it through.

There looked like a hot russian type dancer with requisite shirt undone, in the opening credits. Hope he lives up to those quick clips. Agreed that we got to see talent over tripe, and it was so much more enjoyable. And even 'Jaguar' who sucked had a decent disposition and they encouraged him to keep dancing. Can't wait for the next episode!

One question, the dancer who went in the beginning (the one with the oddly spelled name Natalli, and the hurt ankle), did she make it? I thought they said that a Natalie went to the finals during the choreography round, even though she forgot the steps, but that girl looked so different. Her hair was down, she had no lipstick, and she was wearing baggy clothes. Was that her?
