But my Mom will still bring it up anytime there are tamales around... yes i still get hazed about this one. they were homemade tamales too, by a real mexican and they were all watching me attempt to eat it because I'd never had one before. I shall never forget their latino-tinged laughter. it doesn't help that I almost walked through their screen door after about 8 Tecates either |

Even in Texas, which is like the actual new Mexico, I found the food only so-so. So it has to be me that's off.
So far buckeyes and Amish jam lead the way in Ohioan cuisine. |
