Why do I even bother to watch this show? Whoopi told Sherri today that it's like the Whoopster told her. WTF? Now I'm convinced that Whoopi is coaching
Sherri on what to say. I can't be the only one who is catching onto this? This particular discussion is concerning the Friday night debates. You can't
turn someone who thought the world was flat to a well informed political debater. So disappointed.

I'm sorry. The first five minutes of the show. Sherri was talking about lowering taxes and Whoopi said, "And what did I tell you the Woofster said?
" It ain't gonna happen". What is a woofster? Hello! It's Whoopi who is feeding her the shit. I can't do a replay of todays show but
I'm sure there are some of you who can. If I'm wrong on this they call me out.

I think Whoopi was referring to the statement she made several times in the past that there is no way either candidate can fulfill any pledge they make to cut
taxes considering the state of the economy.

Think it was on TMZ that said that B.W. had a meeting with the other co-hosts and told them to chill out. No matter what the subject is...Joy somehow manages
to make some kind of snide remark about Bush, McClain, Palin belittling them about any and all things. Enough already...at this point everyone knows that there
are exactly 3 on the left, 1 on the right and 1 that has no clue. One thing Rosie posted is that none of them (except BW) makes that much $$$ since it
isn't a syndicated show and they all wear earpieces that the producers feed them what to say.

I thought she meant Wolf Blitzer too.
How in the hell is it possible to both love and hate Bill Maher? I can't stand him. Any time I get a chance to see him, I do. He makes me alol...a LOT. Man I hate him. I need therapy. I guess the rumors of BW telling them to calm down are true. I'm surprised Joy can talk at all after biting her tongue so many times. While I get frustrated with the idea of them influencing any of the viewers with their inane political babbling, I kind of miss the fireworks. I hope it is just temporary "truce". |

Is there any truth to the rumour (that I've heard) that Biden will be stepping out of the race due to health issues, and Obama is slated to replace him
with Hilary?

Where did you hear that?

I'm pretty sure that's just a rumor that's been going around. I wouldn't mind it at all, but I don't think there is any truth to it.

I've heard that rumor since Palin was chosen. Nothing has come of it yet.
The segment with Bill Maher today was hilarious. Sherri was getting so pissed at him. He was talking about that religion is fine, but some people push it too far. He was then talking about people that take things literally, such as Noah's Ark (which Sherri said she believed). Bill was saying that it's inconceivable for a 900 year old man to gather 2 of every species (including all insects) and have a society from that (it's the same thing I've thought about Adam and Eve; if it was just the two of them, how did everyone else come along and it not be all nasty incest?). Sherri then started to ask him if he ever talked directly to God. She said she did, and Bill asked her if he ever answered. When she said yes, he said, "calling Bellvue." Her voice kept getting louder and Whoopi ended the segment. |

I liked it when Joy compared Sarah Palin to "moronic" Dan Quayle and Elizabeth flipped asking Joy if she was saying Palin was moronic.. Joy said she
wouldn't go there... and Bill Maher said "I'll say it!" I LOL'd

I wish Bill would have said something like "The people who believe in the ark are the same people who believe the world is flat"

I thought maybe Sheri was going to start crying at the end of the segment with Bill.
