I actually agree with two first place teams playing each other for the World Series. I don't see the point of playing a long-ass season and then having to
play a short series for your playoff life. Just another thing Selig fucked up beyond belief. Can we get a new commish, please?
And I can't stomach rooting for the Red Sox...it's not so much their players, but I loathe their fans. I just hope Philly or Milwaukee can humble that filthy piece of shit. |

somebody like Bill Buckner? Can you see Phillies fans doing that for Mitch Williams? Would Cardinals fans do that for Dan Denkinger? The Cubs must have a

I love my Brewers but my gut feeling is the Dodgers are going to take this shit. Another random midcard team that wasn't even suppose to make the post season, goes onto win the championship over several teams that were expected to win <3. |

The Red Sox/Rays series is bound to be epic the way they've been battling all season. The World Series, as it was last year, will be probably be in name
only. Although the likely match up between the Red Sox and Dodgers would definitely be interesting. Just seeing what kind of reception Manny's first
plate appearance at Fenway gets will make it worth watching. I bet the booing will start every time he approaches the on deck circle.

I don't think the Cubs have anything to be ambarrassed about, they really played hard and had the Dodgers worried up until Torre filled out the lineup card
before game 1.
