Ooooh. Not good news on the ratings. I can't imagine that it's in danger of being cancelled anytime soon though.

I think Tripp (being the clever person he's supposed to be) made Nick the successor to keep him and Brian at odds. Lucille Bluth used to do it to Michael
and Lindsay all the time.

I like how they are all toned-down dysfunctional as a family, vs Dallas OTT dysfunctional, and a little absurd. Bit more like real life, nio matter what your
income bracket.
The one thing I really hated was hiding the accidental death of whatshername. I get why they felt they had to, but it seemed stupid and contrived. One thing I really liked was that Nick took the keys to the yacht. I was expecting some "You know I can't accept this, Trip" speech. There is no way he will keep it, but I'm glad they didn't go for the expected. The parade of suitcases with cash was fun, but, really, have they never heard of cashier's checks? Or wire transfers? |
