Ok, lets just be completely delusional and say McCain won this debate. Unfortunately he still has a snowball's chance in hell at being elected president.

Guppie, I do think he was better this time for the first few minutes. After that he went down hill quickly.

Being McCain's "best debate out of the three" ... do you all think that it was good enough to change the way things look for him?
I think tonight all Obama had to do was exactly what Sarah Palin had to do which was show up, not soil yourself on live TV and you'll be a winner. |

He instantly looked better, complimented Obama, and showed some humor. Maybe he's just glad it's over, but I also think he's got some idiots running his campaign. On to the homestretch. Announced today that Obama was scaling back in Michigan. Somehow I don't think that's wise - it's not THAT much a given. |

Aside from how they look and what they said, what did we actually learn from this?

I think they both sucked... but they won on entertainment ratings.. nothing was gained, no insights..... no new information or geniune sense of what they can
do when they take office....they are not able to do that because they need votes but frankly you cannot say I am cutting taxes and yet adding programs there
was no there there... telling people bullshit is no longer working.. Americans are not buying this and they want answers.. I did not get them.
