The fact that they made it out that the girl was somehow important to the conspiracy, it puts a whole different spin on the Seybolts being killed. If it has
something to do with the money, I'm guessing the killer had also been hiding her from the conspiracy as leverage, like Jack Resse hiding her after getting
her from the hospital.
Could the sixth person be Ames? He was clearly involved with Jack Reese but was killed off when he became a liability.
It was funny to see both Jack and his daughter do the "No! No! No!" cry of frustration in the car in seperate instances.

How are people not commenting on that episode? That was amazing, and creepy, and horrifying, and damn good tv! And new clues as well - officer slain? Do we
know what that was about? (It's like Blue's Clues: LOOK - a clue!)

I watched it! I hope everyone is as well. This was another great episode.
They used the Stanford Prison Experiment for the basis of the crime and it worked well in context of what Crews went through. The professor/warden contacting Crews's ex-wife was creepy. He went over the line. And it led to Destro and then to Will. The talk Crews had with Will at the end was heartbreaking. Ted and Crews understood what it was like... "You don't need locks for a prison. Just prisoners." "Just because you're in there, you don't have to be there." And I loved that they brought back Robin Weigart as Lieutenant (now Detective) Davis. They're still keeping her a part of the story, just not in the forefront. From the first season, we already knew that Davis was friends with Jack Reese and his family (Dani). Now we are shown her family photo. Anyone else think her husband is one of the five mentioned on the tape? We never saw the guy who got in Jack Reese's car. The guy in the photo could very well have been him. And so a new conspiracy wall begins... This is such a great show!

Excellent episode. The scene with Will & Crews definitely pulled at the heart strings.
Another thing I really enjoy about the show is the use of music in the background. The way they do it gives it a unique feel that I like. I love this show, but I'm really worried that it'll get canned because the ratings aren't great. Something that I would HOPE would happen if NBC took it out of its line-up is that it would possibly move over to USA, it's the type of show that would fit well with their other shows and their network mantra.

I love this show, but you could drive a truck through the plot holes. Doesn't matter to me, though - I love Crews and Reese and Ted and the new Chief and
all the actors that play them.
My favorite line from the show: "It's like Hello Kitty ate Disneyland and threw it back up all over that side of the room." |

Another great episode tonight, even if I did peg the killer about half way through (which is REALLY out of character for me, because I'm a dunce at
figuring out whodunit). I'm fascinated with what they're doing to Jack Reese's character - suddenly, we're seeing him in a sympathetic light,
as just another person pulled into this conspiracy. I can't decide if that makes it more interesting, or if it pisses me off (I liked the dynamic of
partner good, partner's dad bad).
In the meantime, I have NO IDEA what it all means. Why was Rachael's family killed? What does it have to do with the bank and the missing money? How does Jack and the old captain and Ames fit in? Why was Crews the one who was framed? And the most important question of all: Will we get any of these answers before the show is canned? |

"why".

Another great show - I figured out whodunnit early on too, but that's the filler part of the show for me. I'm more interested in the Jack Reese/Crews
storyline (and I love that 'the wall' is back). I really wish NBC would promote the hell out of this show........

The thing is, while the ratings are down, TV ratings as a whole have plummeted this year. Virtually every show has lost a substantial amount of viewers, and
the only new show that can truly be called a 'hit' is The Mentalist. So, while the Life ratings are pretty bad, ratings as a whole are also down
compared to this time last year, so that gives it a shot to not get canned.

Was this the first time he didn't eat any fruit in an episode? The only piece he could get his hands on was the waxed apple near the beginning.
