Stuff I liked: Izzie telling Alex off for being a dick The guy with a baseball sized tumor George being totally awsome with his patient (and totally showing up Meredith - Lol.) All the Callica stuff George passing the test! Bailey and Callie's talk Stuff I did not like The "drama" about Meredith's diary. I can just imagine what it says: probably a variation of "my life sucks. Poor me..." on every page. Even if Derek did read it, he probably didn't get very far because it was so boring The Surgical residents being jealous of the derm. residents. That was stupid. Why was no one looking for them? Why didn't the derm people tell them to go away and quit staring at them? Izzie's new haircut. I guess she's had it for a couple episodes now. It just doesn't look good on her. MerDer (as always)

MerDer (as always) I didn't mind the diary stuff because it wasn't about the diary, but another thing about Meredith freaking out about having an actual relationship with Derek. I do hope, though, they explore the diary more. It would be nice if there were some good things about Meredith in there since she doesn't have the fondest memories of her mother.

This was the best episode in a long time. Alex and Izzy have the best chemistry of any couple ever on this show. I am not feeling the Hahn/Callie thing at all. I think Callie is flattered and curious and will try, but will ultimately decide Hahn is not what she wants leading to drama between them and gossip in the hospital. Predictable I think. We'll see. There were so many good parts of this episode - Bailey, Lexie, Christina Whoever wrote this episode needs to takeover for the rest of the season.

Hahn comes off as a liar and a sociopath every time she claims to not have experience with women. Is the actress just shitty? Are we supposed to be reading her strange stone faced delivery as lying - leading to the "ha - I'm a lesbian and I've tricked you, where's my toaster" reveal somewhere down the road? I'm more than happy to have some non-heteronormative love going on, but I am NOT feeling this particular storyline/acting job.

There were loads to love about, and like everyone else I thought the MerDer bits were the worst. I loved the whole Derm plotline, and having just come from that rotation I can safely say that it is 99.9% accurate..

Loved seeing Cristina/Meredith/Izzy in the Derm unit and George being the one to herd them out of there. It's nice when they have group moments like that. Loved George and Duncan. He was so great with the kid and it was nice to have an episode where I remembered why I used to like George so much. Too bad he blew off Lexie at the end, but that's a typical George thing to do, so it didn't bother me too much. Speaking of, I love Lexie. They could have shoved her down our throats last season, but they didn't, and I find her infinitely more likeable than Meredith. Please do more with Sloan! He's much better than to be wasted on stuff like listening to Derek bitch about Meredith & her roommates. I'm so over Derek. I think he's become my least favourite character on this show. He's an ass almost all of the time these days. More Alex / Izzy, please. I don't care if they're fighting, or screwing, just bring it. I just do not care about Callie or Hahn, but I did like Bailey's advice.

In all his interviews that I've read, you can tell he is INCREDIBLY arrogant and thinks the show is nothing without his character. I think he should be a BIT more grateful, because he was a forgotten akward 80s kid before he got Grey's.

If this had any basis in reality or made any sense based on their story so far, then knowing what a basketcase she is, he would have read it and made sure nothing in there says "I hate this fucking daughter of mine" because that would fuck her up even more than she already is. What kind of lover, knowing how fucked up the beloved is. due to the mother not loving her, would give an unread diary? Pretty fucking cruel and stupid. So of course the opposite will happen she will forgive her mother, get over herself and be able to move in with him. YAWN. Why in god's name he puts up with her mental state and psychosis I dont get..and her stupid "he gave me my mother's diary" whine as IF this was anything to bitch about...

I don't like Meredith but I do feel bad for her. She's had such a fucked up life and is the way she is because of her parents. It would be nice for her to actually read that her mother cared about her. At this point she probably thinks both of her parents fucking hated her and wished she was never born.
