We've been in our house about 5 years and the "stuff" is getting thick. I'm in the process of thinning out the books we have. My grandmother
died last summer and I ended up with a few boxes of her "stuff". I'm going to go through that next. She gave me some nice crystal and other
things like that, but there's lots of junk in there too. Couldn't toss it in front of my mom, so I packed it all home.

*Seinfeld voice* "Why do they call it a yard sale?
"The yard isn't for sale." |

Gah! My mother is a hoarder. Mostly horrendous QVC shit, like those Quacker Factory sweaters that Joel McHale always ridicules on The Soup. My aiater and I
keep saying we need to do an intervention on her.

My mom collects figurines and keeps them in "groups." She has miniature houses here, cermaic keosene lamps there, and owls over by the piano.

I need to send CBR a plane ticket to weed out my stuff.

Dibs on the mandolin and any vintage christmas ornaments and decor!
I don't keep a lot of stuff. In general, I like stuff but I'm very selective. I only keep stuff that I truly love and adore. |

But guppie, the house I am in now does not have a basement. It does however have a large detached garage with a shop area, a large room behind it where the
kids lived when they were in college, and a metal storage shed in the back yard, which is what I am putting off working on now.

I have a mandolin from my crazy Led Zep fan days.
