I'm guessing she had "real" models wear them, but couldn't get a decent picture since they were laughing at them so hard they couldn't hold their heads up. Brave Kenley had to step in.

Not sure what point you're trying to make, but none of these women have more than 8-10 items on their websites. And all of them, I would venture to say, are doing all their own sewing. So they're more likely to promote the biggest ticket items, which are dresses. If it were me, I know that's the way I'd do it.

Half of Kenley's are her dumb-ass "fascinators" ... though I guess she has a point. I am fascinated why in the hell anyone would put one of those fugly things on their heads. Much less pay $65. for one. I notice none of them are out of stock.

Korto's ... she looses big time for the gawd-awful picture of her in the leapord swimsuit on the "upcoming events" page. In my book, that one alone qualifies her for the "untalented label."

But women don't wear dresses. They wear pants 99.99% of the time. Or so I've heard. Which got Korto and Leanne bonus points for making a couple pairs of pants this season, versus Kenley's lone pair.

Next season: All pants. Just to cater to the commoners.

You don't seriously think they're ever intending to cater to commoners, do you? If so, not only would they need to design 99.9% pants, but they'd have to do it in at least a size 16 ... which I think is the median clothing size worn by women. And just how interesting do you think a show like that would be. Shit, if that's what we all wanted to watch, we could all just toddle on down to WalMart and watch the women waddle up and down the aisles.

Fashion designers don't design for everyday women. They design for women who don't care about the practicality of the clothing, who want to be able to throw it in the wash, who want to be able to afford it. They're desigining for the left over .01% of the population ... if that many.

Having a variety of clothing styles in their runway shows just helped show some versatility. If all Kenley can design is a dress with the sillouette of a 1950s poodle-skirt ... which she does very well ... it rather makes her a one-hit wonder. Not someone who will show something (hopefully) fresh and new the next time out. I think that's what they're looking for.

I don't know that it's shameful ... but along with her 40s-50s style clothing, it always made it quite laughable how she kept droning on about how the other designers didn't do anything fresh and new like she did.
