One of those nights where I am helping my step-daughter find sites to get info for an essay on the election, and playing a fraction/percentage assigned
homework game with my fifth grader--so I THOUGHT I caught Joslyn's name as in, and then looked again and saw Elina was in, too. Thought both were going to
Amsterdam. Joslyn was eliminated? I need to watch this again, apparently.

Sheena is such a fake self righteous kiss ass. Who is she to talk about culture? She acts like she's black. And her commercial was awful IMO.

I don't understand why people have such a hard time with Elina and Marjorie pointing out the cultural differences between how they were raised and how many
American children are raised. Even if you're only in Europe for the first few years of your life, that's going to be pretty fucking formative in your
development. And if your parents are very emotionally controlled (aka Elina) then that cultural training is going to come with you. I don't see that as an
excuse at all - neither of them are trying to get out of anything. Elina has used it for an explanation (not excuse) for her controlled nature, which she is
trying to change. Marjorie has used it as an explanation for her awkwardness/shyness, which she chooses to work with. How is it bad to understand your
upbringing, and to try to explain that to the people around you?
Though Elina can't make an argument for crap, and embarrasses herself every time she tries to defend her beliefs. I just chant "18 and stupid" in my head quite a bit... |

AWESOME episode. I feel like the callout order was screwed up because Elina's commercial was better than Joslyn, McKey, Marjorie, AND Samantha's. Analeigh's commercial was great! I was stunned when Tyra said, ''And you'll survive this (to Joslyn)'' because I thought it meant that Elina was eliminated. I freaking HATE Sheen now. I pretty much start hating a reality show contestant when they say something like, ''It's good vs. evil.''
Stupid fool.
There were only two people shown rooting for Joslyn to stay, and those two were Samantha (double chin bitch) and Sheena (video looking whore).

Analeigh's stock shot through the roof this episode. I didn't think she was a contender before, but she might be now. I think McKey takes great pictures, but holy fuck that FACE in the commercial.  Then the judges say "You look amazing on camera". Yeah, uh.
No. Not so much.
I liked Josyln but I didn't want my crazy emotionally dead European Christmas hating vegan to go home. <3 Elina And <3 to PuPa's recaps.

The thing with Mckey is that she clearly could be good tv as evident by the recrap. She's definitely um.. different in her ways (how many people try to
save dead bees by brushing their corpses with water?) but the show for some reason or another has decided not to show too much of her.

Ugh... and one more thing.
I wanted to punch the TV when Sheena told Elina she shouldn't have done the Holiday spread because she was atheist and didn't believe in the holidays. So who would have been a better choice? Sheena?!?!?! Bitch they were doing Christmas not Chinese New Year |

I'm also sick of people telling others to ''get over it.'' I never hear a white person tell a black person to get over it when referring to slavery, etc. (not the best example, tis true) I agree with whoever said that Elina and Marjorie weren't giving excuses, but they were giving explanations. |
