I was thinking of being Sarah Palin, but waaay before anyone else thought of it, I'm sure. Now it seems like the costume of choice for all brunettes, so I
might have to be Jesus. I think I could pull it off. We have the same cheekbones.

That green carpet is atrocious! It does not match the walls. The picture on the wall is placed too high.

I am not sure how many kids will come since this is my first Halloween in an apartment, but I got some candy too (m&m's) and I might buy more.

I'm making 90 treat bags. I had 50-60 last year, but I think it will be busier since it's a Friday this year.

I have over 800 pieces of good candy to hand out. I think I may need a little more. We're in a much busier neighborhood this year. Plus, the low rent town
a few miles down the road has banned trick or treating for kids past the 6th grade. I fear we'll get thuggy overflow. I'd prefer not to be egged.

I'm dressing up like Little Red Riding Hood.
I have nowhere to go, but I'm expecting a big bad wolf to come to my door... |

The usual - walking around with the kids while they get the loot and we pull a wagon with a cooler full of beverages. Then back to a neighbors house for a
bonfire, food, and more beverages.
It's actually supposed to be nice weather here in Chicagoland on Friday. Usually for Halloween we're freezing our pa-too-tee's off. |

This Halloween is my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. I really need ideas, too. I bought them a new toaster because the old one broke, but that seems
particularly lame. And since my sister and I are both broke college students, we can't afford to throw a party or anything. We're getting them Chinese
food for dinner, but that's tradition anyway.
Also, I might spend the early part of the afternoon cooking and freezing pumpkin to prepare for my holiday baking. But that's a terrible anniversary activity. |

Going to the movies after work to avoid the kiddies, and then back home to drink the night away.
Bascially I'm dressing up as a pathetic loner for Halloween. |

We were going to but then I thought it MIGHT be too tacky - so we are going with something a bit more traditional. 4 hour limo ride after the 10 minute ceremony though - should eb able to see a lot of freaks then! |

will you be gettin jiggy in the limo?
otherwise, why would you want to ride around for 4 hours immediately after your wedding? hmmm. weird. |
