Just watched the launch, and this seems like a pretty promising group. Nobody there who looks like a complete dud, obviously some of them will be, but there
are none that are clearly going to be boring yet.

She seemed pretty normal and bland to me. I know nothing of her past escapades, but she came across as a regular single mum.
Can't say i'm thrilled with this group, but it has some potential. Tommy is a legend already, love the guy. And I can't stand how bad he's getting boo'ed. I was reading up on him, and read how in the 70's a law was passed where they were taking peoples homes from them, and if you called him he would gather people up to picket right outside your house so they couldn't take it. The guy is a hero, and needs to win this show. Coolio is awesome also, so many great quotes from him. I'm sticking by him winning it all, he already has the crowd on his side. Verne needs to go away, overpimped midget seething hatred. I like Carol and Michelle as well, the rest im indifferent on. |

So as I mentioned in my previous post up thread, I have never watched BBUK before. Do the nominations and vote offs work the same way. HOH nominates 2 people
and then the house votes someone out or is the vote out done by the audience?
I'm still watching the stream I have and Coolio is sitting in the giant assed ashtray smoking a butt and everyone else seems to be in bed now. I think the ashtray is outside but I'm not certain. From what I watched on the stream, so far, there's only one person who is annoying. I don't know the names of the english people yet, but she's the one who's old and fat and has blond hair. She just never shuts up and she reminds me of Janice Battersby from Cornation Street for some reason. |

Previous to this, last series the Head of House had no influence on Nominations, other than the fact that they were immune from being nominated.
My guess is that the HOH this time will nominate Two or Three housemates for eviction. How long this will last, we don't know. But I don't see there being too many evictions. |

Usually there is no HOH twist, that was introduced in the last regular series this past summer for a few weeks.
The basic gist of BBUK is that the whole house nominates and whoever (2 or more) has the most nominations will face the public vote, which ultimately decide who goes and who wins. Now in BB9 we had the whole heaven and hell twist and with it came a Head of House who's role was mainly to manage weekly shopping tasks and house decisions, I don't believe it had any out come on the nominations. Obviously as Davina stated the HOH will be the sole HM to nominate this week as apart of a twist, but after this week or the first eviction the whole nomination/eviction process will return to normal (or will it?). ....oh and housemates are NEVER allowed to discuss nominations or who they plan to nominate which as a result eliminates any strategy/gaming/alliances...but as ptcrusin pointed out unspoken alliances which are really just group of friends will form, and those people will often nominate HM's of other house cliques; it's basically like BBUS1. |

Thanks Marlee. It seemed a little tame compared to BBUS because there was no one really jockeying for position in alliances or anything.
Verne didn't speak the entire time I saw him on the feeds or whatever I'm watching and then he went to bed. I hope he gets a bit wilder and more exciting to watch. Coolio seems like he's going to do the cooking and I was kinda diggin' him but then he told someone to "axe the DR" instead of ask them and I immediately wanted him to die. I got over it for now though. La Toya's voice is probably going to drive me crazy. There's an Irish guy who's accent I love, love, love. I don't know who he is but I'm a sucker for an Irish accent and so far, I haven't seen him do anything annoying. Like I said earlier, the only one who got on my nerves was the large, older woman with the blond hair. She kept digging at her tits and her bra straps and she's going to be the loud one of the bunch I think. One younger girl's voice reminded me of Sporty Spice's voice so she immediately turned me off. There's some boy band kid who seems good looking but really bland personality wise. The rest just didn't really seem to stick out much. |

This is going to be the first CBB that I will be watching! I'm excited. I'm actually very hopeful with this particular cast and they seem to have done
a good job of getting a mix of people who each bring something different to the table.
Based on the intros alone, I can't hate any of them. But I know how ridiculous Verne can be so that's certainly going to be one thing to see develop. Mutya is probably going to rub people all wrong but it was will be interesting to see. The rest of them, I'm quite hopeful to see how their personalities shine through in this situation. Hopefully Tina does not close up like she since she seems like that type. And a couple of the others I hope don't turn out to be as nice and boring as they already seem to be. |

Ulrika, she is another person I haven't heard of until now, and I don't like or hate her..but I do think she is crazy and I do feel like she might cause some drama, which is awesome. |
