You'd think after all these seaons the judges would realize that and quit taking things so seriously. The show isn't Last Comic Standing. I can see boosting Cloris over a couple better dancers because she's old and funny, but at a certain point it makes a mockery of the show and is unfair to the others. I think that point of backlash has been reached. Cloris going much further will be like Jerry winning America's Choice on Big Brother.

Julianne's usually the only reason I watch, but her partner sucks this year, and besides she's going to be out for a couple weeks. I wanted to like Lance, but that cow Lacey totally ruined that for me. Cloris is the only saving grace this season. My mop's a better dancer than Susan Lucci. Maurice is boring. Brooke doesn't have anything to worry about. Cody's associated with Hannah Montana so he automatically sucks for being. Lance should have been partnered with a dude. I've been pretty satisfied with the boot order with the exception of Ted being axed for having an unknown pro. If Susan, Lance, and Maurice go in that order. This season may be redeemed IMO.

Five years ago you couldn't have paid me to believe that what was on TV tonight would be a top 10 nationally ranked program. I just can't believe my eyes... Yet I will still watch.

Many 60 year old actresses in Hollywood are much stronger and healthier than Susan Lucci. Cloris has 20yrs on her and moves almost as good as Susan and doesn't look as frail.

I guess Cheryl has a lot of fans... I'm surprised; the posters here should be thrilled at Carrie Ann's comments. Yes, they cause all the people who hate Cloris to agree with her, but any Cloris fan, or anyone who even remotely supported her, will now rally to Cloris' defense. Basically, those comments (and her doing hip-hop) are her only chance at staying, since she was quite forgettable tonight; her dance was worse than the past few weeks, and her antics weren't as funny.

Cloris may be the worst technical dancer this season but she is infinitely more entertaining than some still in it and definitely those who have left (Toni included). Let's face it... the hag is ancient and cannot slink her way across the floor like Brooke. But she uses what she excels in (comedy) and makes the most of what she can do on the floor. Honestly I cannot see a final three without Brooke, Cody and Warren... but I'll be damned if Cloris doesn't make it past self-entitled pegleg dancers like Susan or whoeverthefuckheisdontcare Maurice. And thank God for that. Otherwise, Cloris would have gone the first week. That UK judge (the young guy. Not Bruno. Craig?) who loves giving out 1s and 2s would have totally slaughtered her.

They don't really do shtick over there, though, do they? They take it more seriously, the dances are a lot different. It is interesting how well Corky and his girlfriend Kristina are doing in both versions, though...both got the older contestants who everyone thought would be the first out and they're both still in it. And Brian Fortuna is still in it as well...he's toned it down big time.

But I agree that we are approaching the time when she needs to leave and let the better dancers finish off the season. But that time is not this week. While Maurice is boring, he's still a pretty decent dancer. Lucci needs to go first.

Maybe not this week, I can see Susan going first. She's a broomstick with boobs and just as much personality on the dance floor. That's why Cloris will stay over her. She's entertaining and fun to watch. Susan and others before her are too concerned with how they look and they forget to have fun. I would so NOT want Flatley to be a perm judge.. even a perm guest judge. He should have been renamed Paula Abdul Flately. His positive remarks got annoying quickly.

Lance/Lacey - If I'd never heard of either of them, I would not have known which is the pro and which is the amateur based on this performance. Lacey sucked. Warren - even I'll admit he didn't do that great. He's just not as good with the slower dances. Goddess Cloris must stay!

Yes, Toni was a better dancer, but it's not Cloris' fault that she has people inspired enough to vote for her. Having said that, while I've enjoyed her antics, I do think her act is getting tiresome and it may be time for her to leave, but I think at the very least she'll outlast Susan and Maurice. I like Brooke and all, but there was absolutely no way she deserved a 10 for that rumba. It was obvious she was favoring her foot injury, although she still moved fairly decently. Me think Flatley was enamored with something other than her dancing. I don't what to say about the hip hop group routine other than Susan looked lost and that I didn't need to see Cody and Julianne shaking their asses in the camera. Speaking of Julianne, I hope she has a speedy recovery from her surgery. On the bright side, at least Edyta's back for a couple of weeks, although it would be messed up if Cody's eliminated tonight.

Of course, any dance number on DWTS would have been ten times better with that song, even a fucking paso doble. :-)

If she goes this week, so be it. If it's next week, I'll live. LOL. Point is, for the first time I really didn't enjoy her "antics" at all (in the alleged cha-cha-cha.) She was amusing in the hip-hop group dance, tho, and that might well earn her enough votes to squeak out another week. She either needs new material or needs to leave. But I'll say this for Susan Lucci: while she has been uncomfortable to watch most weeks, she actually did make a big effort last night, so kudos for that. Whether it's enough for her fans is anyone's guess. Anyway, I'd rather see Cloris leave on a high note than become so dreadful and impossible to watch that we're all pleading for her to be eliminated.

Or that she wasn't even in the bottom two last week. Judge Bruno Tonioli wants her out. "I think Cloris should go home," Tonioli said after Monday night's show. "I don't take anything away from what she's done. She's fantastic. She's entertaining. She's a legend. But we have to be realistic. We're past the halfway stage, and the best dancers should be the ones left in the competition." Tonioli shares the opinion of fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who told Leachman after her cha cha cha on Monday night that losing Toni Braxton from the competition tipped the balance. "Losing Toni?" said Tonioli. "That was like, okay, that hurts. It's nothing personal, but Toni didn't deserve to go. Cloris should have gone. And we love her. She's proved that even at 82, you can come out here, do your best, kill it and entertain." Leachman herself may have reached her limit. On the press line after the show, she kicked off her right tennis shoe, grimacing in pain and telling her partner, Corky Ballas, that her right foot was hurting her. Ballas suggested shaking it out, but Leachman got no relief and had to excuse herself to sit down. She had danced two dances on Monday night, the cha cha cha and the group hip-hop. To add insult to possible injury, two of the judges want her to go home.
