Scariest moment:

- When Kim bragged at the lingerie store that she never wears panties, was I the only person who cringed in disgust? Thank God they can't transmit smell yet.


Most ironic moments:

- Jan (the vocal coach): "You had trouble matching the note.."
Kim the Klueless (blowing off what Jan just said): "Where does that come into play when singing in a studio?"
Jan, stunned, stares at Kim for a moment. You could almost hear Jan thinking "What? Are you serious? Oh my god, she is."
Later, Kim again blows off everything Jan said by shrugging and saying all of that doesn't matter because she's a "singer". Honey, you're as delusional about your "singing" as DeShawn is about her foundation.

- Every single person who yammered on about don't be a hater, don't hate and blah-blah-blah, rather eagerly jumped at every chance to gossip, spread rumors, hate and discontent and basically talk shit about other people. I also finally caught last week's episode and I realized: every single back-stabbing bitch who talked crap about Ne-Ne this week.. just as happily talked shit about DeShawn last week. DeShawn may be naiive and Ne-Ne may be loud-n-proud, but neither of them are mean spirited and catty.


Funniest off-hand remark:

- "Women plus alcohol plus 'pole' equals great time." Oh, the mental image that phrase planted in my brain. (Wooo, does Lisa got some sexy moves when she wants to dance!)


Other interesting moments:

- Sheree's deliberately-blank-faced quick "oh shit, did they catch that?" out-of-the-corner-of-her-eye glance at the camera after Kim spells cat K-A-T. Ne-Ne might not realize that 1/2 is larger than 1/3 but I'll betcha she can spell "brainless blonde bimbo".

Speaking of Kim's doomed career, I would bet money Kim is tone deaf because I think that's why Kim had so much trouble trying to match the notes that Jan played. Then when Dallas joined Kim and Sheree for lunch, it didn't look to me like Dallas was the least bit surprised that Kim's meeting with Miss Jan didn't go so well. I think he knew she wasn't half as great as she thinks she is. However, at the studio, I think Dallas was shocked at how bad she really was. Yet he was very kind about it to her and was still very encouraging to her.

Going back to Sheree and Kim's lunch at the Mexican restaurant.. I felt bad for DeShawn for being such a Polly Pureheart when she tried to call Kim and Katty-Kim deliberately hung up on her. Immediately, DeShawn concludes that one of their phones must have dropped the call. Poor sweet DeShawn.


Other thoughts:

If Lisa was so offended (or whatever) by Ne-Ne's silly song, she should have stopped Ne-Ne from singing the damn song rather than egging her on. Or found a different subject for Ne-Ne to sing about. But no. Can't do that. Instead she just laughed and laughed and laughed. Her mouth was open so wide, I half expected her tonsils would fall out. But later, of course, she had to immediately tell Sheree about the song. Because I think it's pretty obvious that it was Lisa who told Sheree "in the strictest confidence" about that stupid song. "Strictest confidence", my ass. There's an oxymoron, especially in this situation. Passing along any gossip at all about Ne-Ne to Sheree or vice-versa is about the same as getting a bullhorn and blasting it at every passing car from the busiest intersection during rush hour.

If you are "friends" with someone and they've done something that upsets you, then you talk to your friend about it. How obvious is that? A real friend wants to know not only when they have done something that makes you feel good, they also want to know when they said or done something that hurts you. Especially if it was something that they did in jest. Because if they really are your friend, they want that chance to apologize and perhaps explain things. It's a no brainer. Unless, say, you're a fake-blonde plastic-face inflate-a-date blow-up-titties no-talent no-brain drama queen ho.


Favorite moments:

- When the sound man visibly winced and moved the headphones off his ear after a particularly bad off-key note by Kim.

- When Ne-Ne described her idea behind Twisted Hearts. Now there was deep felt passion. Ne-Ne's foundation exists because Ne-Ne wants to do something good, not as a quasi-"legitimate" venue for self promotion like DeShawn's. I hope Twisted Hearts does well.
