TK. AND. RACHEL.I hated TK and Rachel, I thought they were boring and sanctimonious, but I'm not sure if that was any fault of their edit. I think they were just a dull team. Some teams editing can do nothing for (Eric/Danielle). With Ken and Tina, it's more about the other probable teams in the F3 than it is about Ken and Tina. I guess I should just assume Dandrew win, they would fit the pattern of the last few seasons. |

Okay, this is my theory of what happens.
1st - Nick & Starr (Confirmed via video) 3rd - Ken & Tina (The third place team was described as a man and a woman, paticularly a woman with blonde hair. They were arguing. This perfectly fits Ken/Tina) That leaves Toni/Dallas and Andrew/Dan for 2nd and 4th. If I have my facts right, I believe there was no spotting of Toni/Dallas in Portland, but there was one of Andrew/Dan. Also, Andrew/Dan have a confessional at the Pitcock Mansion, meaning they make F3. 1st - Nick & Starr 2nd - Andrew & Dan 3rd - Ken & Tina -------------------- 4th - Toni & Dallas So who lost there documents? BVM: In addition, the season also happened to play out as one of the few The Amazing Race editions in which one of the competing teams failed to make it to the course's finish line -- an unexpected development that was welcomed by van Munster. Nick & Starr did not cheer after hearing they won the leg. ALSO, from the person who spotted them said - "also, did you know once the contestants come through they sit at the side? i always envisioned them giong off to a hotel, but no they sat in a waiting area until at the one of the other teams came thorugh." Is it possible they could have been sitting at the side BECAUSE of the lost documents, and we're waiting for it to be sorted out or were being told of what was going to happen.... Nick & Starr also were not spotted in Portland with Ken/Tina and Dan/Andrew, so maybe we have a showdown between Ken/Tina and Dan/Andrew. |

Maybe Dandrew was there as a decoy, like Nate & Jen last year.

Maybe Ken & Tina leave and get the Nate & Jenn edit. It's just hard to believe the editors would go so far to build up a team like Toni &
Dallas just so they can disappoint the audience as much as possible. They even included testimonials from other teams about how classy and nice they are. I
just remembered that T&D got the last words before the credits in the premier, which usually goes to the winning team.
This show has more than it's share of disappointing endings, but the editors have always tried to make it satisfying in some way.

Via the preview, we can see that Dallas still has the fannypack during the roadblock which usually means late into the leg. That's some hope for them not
being the ones to lose all documents, right?

Here's my guess for the next episode (though I am probably wrong)
1. Nick & Starr (and they lose their shit) 2. Toni & Dallas (because N&S can be seen in the background in some of their scenes) 3. Dan & Andrew (because 2nd to last is what they do best) 4. Ken & Tina (they could still be decoys if they get eliminated) Final episode: 1. Toni & Dallas 2. Dan & Andrew Moscow Siberia 3. Nick & Starr |

No video of any teams doing tasks except for Dan and Andrews speedbump and Toni and Dallas doing what looks to be a route marker task and a detour. The task is supposed to be a scavenger hunt, either on foot or by public transport - Ken/Tina seem to be doing the latter. T/D haven't been given much by the edit, though - they've had the obvious "son loves mom; mom doesn't want to disappoint" story since Episode 1. Almost every other parent-child tem had more. They even included testimonials from other teams about how classy and nice they are.Kynt/Vyxin got the most positive SPV from teams last season (Ari/Staella randomly talking about how surprisingly good they were etc) I just remembered that T&D got the last words before the credits in the premier, which usually goes to the winning team.Shana/Jennifer got them last season. |

A Dying Clown wrote: Not the same, though. "They are suprisingly good racers" vs. "They are classy people." This show loves to paint people as good and others as bad. They showed a lot of Mirna's whining about how bad the BQs were. Also, T&D got the very serious music when they were with this children in India. They used similar sequences for Kendra, Uchenna & Joyce, the crackhead models, Chip & Reichen and the orangatans, etc. I'm liking that the editors are deliberately deceptive in the previews, because it never happens as it appears. Everyone thinks T&D lose their passports and money based on that one comment from Dallas. That makes me think they do NOT lose their passports. |

This show loves to paint people as good and others as bad.Which has absolutely no bearing on the winners, otherwise Danny/Oswald would have won All-Stars instead of Eric/Danielle. And last season the team who got comments about the poverty in Africa and India was Nate/Jen, not TK/Rachel (who only got a shitty quote about how badly everyone smelled). |

Nothing about their edits seemed like they had won or were even finalists. Of course early on Nate & Jen had lots of spoilers out there saying that they
had won, so the editors probably went with it.

racedude122003 wrote:But they weren't talking about the final leg. On three separate occasions (T/D,Ken, Dandrew) they've had somebody do confessionals in a later leg for an earlier leg. This is my prayer of what will happen this week: If the person who loses their passports simply dont make it to the final pitstop and are the F4 team... Dandrew loses their stuff this leg and go out. During this time they spend their time trying to get a new visa and find their old ones/get a replacement just in time to make it to the final location (but long after they decide to stop filming the pitshop) and are sent out as decoy teams with Terrence/Sarah and Kelly/Christie. If they did make it to the F3: I am hearing the roadblock is earlier than the detour and since the detour involves either the public system or foot, Dandrew lose their stuff but are still able to check in but are unable to continue (and from "...find their old ones..." on)

Were Nick & Starr really seen in Portland? I saw the description elsewhere of an attractive couple - she had dark hair and he had dark blond hair, and he
looked like he climbed a mountain. That could reasonably describe Sarah & Terrance (or more fittingly, Sarah & Ken).
Starr's hair really isn't dark and Nick's isn't really dark blond - they have the same hair. That's a weird description.

Dan & Andrew's Portland confessional seems legit. They really don't look like they've been having a relaxing day or two off.
