I still don't get how they're underdogs. They sucked at a lot of challenges, they acted like crazies most of the time they were at Fang, they managed to vote off the right people once or twice, and then they had switches which allowed them to luck out into voting Kota people off.
Are they entertaining players? Some of them are (Crystal).
Are they likable? Some (I like Susie, and Sugar and Matty are OK).
Are they underdogs? I don't see it. Along with "good and evil", it seems like another weak attempt at trying to jazz up a mediocre season.
They're underdogs because most of the people who are left standing were pre merge boots according to Jeff Probst himself and his pre game predictions. He didn't believe Ken, Sugar, Susie, Crystal would last long at all.
And, don't use the switches excuse. Switches are part of the game and they were actually pretty fair this time around except probably Jacque getting screwed the most. This isn't like those awful twists in China which screwed over people like Sherea when they pretty much hand picked her to come over to a new tribe. The second twist was completely fair IMO. It was Marcus's fault that he had alienated Susie and made her believe she was on the bottom of the alliance. Hell, Susie was talking about not going with Ken and Crystal at the beginning of the episode so the fact that he still didn't pick up on that proves how much of a horrible player he was. It was his own fault that he never reassure Susie and made her clear that she would be in the Top 3, even if he had lied.
The twists in this game really didn't change the outcome of this game too much. It's just that some people like Ken and Crystal capitalized on it, while others like Marcus and Corrine, chose to continue to alienate people like Sugar amd Susie. They have nobody to blame but themselves.
