Anne, I agree with you. I think some of the missing pieces are contained in short stories. I haven't been able to locate any copies to borrow from the
library. I really don't want to buy the books in order to read one story.

I haven't read the books (yet) but I am curious about the CofS. Will they go into more detail about them in the second season or are they going to remain
in the Louisianna backwoods?
It seems like 2 completely different worlds but I would love to see them merge or at least share the spotlight. |

Anne, I've ordered the short stories book, hopefully to arrive today. Will let u know if the stories are filled in. I agree, it was a little confusing
reading that particular book. It seemed as if there were several holes in the storyline.

Ann, the man who comes in the limo is the Queen of Louisiana's lawyer. He did show up briefly in an earlier book to tell Sookie about her cousin.

Thanks McWolcott, "Bite" is indeed the bridge I was looking for. There was a 3 page preview of the Harris story online and it opens with Sookie
doing late night yard work with Bubba, when the limo drives up with the Queen's lawyer.

I've loaned out most of my books, but the three collections I still have laying around are all one-offs. One is two random vampires planning a wedding (no
Sookie), one is sort of a Charlie Brown Halloween for Eric (with Sookie and Pam - is hysterically awesome) and the other is Sookie at Christmas (set right
after the most recent book.)

BTW, HBO's going to marathon the season this week -- 4eps each on Tues, Wed, & Thurs, 8-12 on HBO2.
I didn't watch it when it first aired and am looking forward to checking it out. |
