As much as I liked Toni/Dallas, if someone asked me to remove my pack, I'd make sure I had it on my way out (before I paid the cab). Even when I'm
leaving my office, I check to make sure I have everything, even if I'll be in the next day. I'd be so paranoid about not having everything with me at
all points. And, as for the cameramen/production grabbing the passports and giving them back, that would technically interfere with the race. If T/D had
actually gotten ahead of team and got to the finale, would it be fair to give them their passports back to complete the race? I'm not sure. They got
fortunate that they got their passports back quickly enough to just miss out on the finish line. And while they wouldn't have been stuck in Russia, they
would've been stuck during the actual finale.

It's not about embassies or losing passports. Yes, they can be replaced. However, the person in the foreign country who finds a lost AMERICAN PASSPORT can
sell it and use it. Passports are property of the US government. Whether or not they showed a reenactment or not, the crew has an obligation to safeguard those
documents if they know that they've been left behind. The screenshots make it look like a reenactment so I don't think they were lost forever but they
should have explained why they weren't concerned about the loss in the first place.

The reenactment does make me wonder just how much is fake that we see on the show. Any idea how extensive this is?

I'm angry at you morons who don't think an adult ought to be responsible for his own actions.

You're the one waving their hankey in one hand sniffing at the smelling salts in the other like some Victorian maiden because of the horrible, terrible situation that production put poor widdle Dallas in. "Safety and security" ... who are you, Mario? Secondly, my mother has no sons. Only some well-traveled daughters. |

The camera crew have a thousand things to be concerned about while filming on the road, including hanging onto all their own gear and documents. The last
thing they need is to be responsible for the racers' crap too.
