Oh, and Eliza, I have an awful question for you. Say Scunt and Twila were in the finals in Vanuatu (assuming everything else went the same, except Chris lost
in the F3IC), who would you have voted for? Suicide is not an option.

I can't imagine having to vote for either, but I obviously would have had to had I been in the situation. I just can't answer that without the jury performances. Sorry! |

=D Eliza said Amanda's name!
Amanda <3 Now referring back to your previous post.. does all this Amanda lovin' bore and/or annoy you?? =) |

I still wish you voted for Amanda...but oh well.
Now in another thread we were debating about pre-F4 tiebreakers. Do you happen to know how ties are broken before the F4 (or even at the F4 in the tribal stage)? Is it fire or the PROD or something else? |

I hate talking about this in the Eliza thread, but because you brought Amber up....
You haters make her out to be a better player by bitching about her. Amber won by playing a strategy as one person said "with a strategy that would never work in any other season" doesn't that make her a good player to pull something off that could not have been pulled off any other season. Amber won [what 5 years ago now!] some people need to move on. Don't blame Amber for the stupidity of the other All Stars. Blame Lex, Kathy, Shii Ann, Alicia, Tom, Rupert, Jenna the people who basically let Romber win, don't blame the winner. |

(This new rule of the vote getters being immune makes it impossible @ final four b/c it means the one person who didn't receive votes who does not have immunity at final four would automatically go home). Hope that helps! |

Well, Scout was more eloquent than Twila so she'd likely have a better jury performance. It would be a shame to reward her just for that since her strategy was mainly to start fights so that she wouldn't be targeted. Twila played with a lot of determination and, of the two, she's the one who took chances. |

Now, I want it to be clear that I'm not bashing Eliza for saying that that's what the tiebreaker rules and stuff are but.....the idea of actually
REWARDING the two people who got the most votes by making them immune and making everyone else who doesn't have immunity vulnerable seems like one of the
most stupid and ridiculous ways of breaking a tie that I've ever heard. Again, I'm not trying to get upset at Eliza for saying it as that would be
essentially "shooting the messenger", but that method just doesn't seem to make sense.

Well, I know THAT....And that in and of itself is just incredibly stupid to begin with. I mean, I'm probably not the only person thinking that.

Scout was carried through the game..... and Twila is obnoxious in a more likeable way than Scout is IMO. Plus Twila was way more entertaining. I dunno... I kinda liked Twila. Scout was just a piece of shit. ETA: OK this is ridiculous. I can say shit on this board but not t e a r s? lol. |

I can respect Amber for getting to the final two by hiding behind a player other people couldn't stand (the same strategy she tried in s2, really) but not winning over him.

XtremeInnovator420 wrote:IMO it's not rewarding the two who got votes, it's punishing people who caused ties. They don't want ties and I totally understand that since there's really no good way to resolve them. So they make it so causing a tie puts YOU at risk, so you won't do it. Otherwise, people like Eliza for example would have caused them... she didn't want to go with Scout/Twila/Chris, she wanted to go with Ami/Julie. But is a tie interesting for the viewer? Not really IMO. Nor is it really fair. So forcing people like Eliza in that situation to avoid a tie is what this rule is trying to accomplish.

Murtz's usually great taste in Survivor girls is off a bit this season, with him picking Sugar as the best player overall and Jacquie as the hottest. Maybe
that comes from being an Ace fan to begin with.
Not surprised Brooke likes Jacquie, because they both got off to a great start and got screwed in the same switch (done ep.4, went from amjority alliance to minority, only hours on new tribe before TC). If they ever do a second-chance Survivor for players that got screwed and never got to show their stuff, Brooke is my first pick.

Much as Brooke got screwed, I wouldn't trade Judd turning on Nakum for anything since it provided one of the most entertaining TCs in history.
As for Jacquie, zero sympathy. Her silent votes were boring. If she was just going to coast through the game on her alliance, better we were without her. |

It was fun to see the players responsible for their exit get their just desserts in the endgame, and the last person from the originally deserving alliance
come back for the win. Great storyline.
