Good try on your attempt to change the point of emphasis - I wasn't talking about the Bowl Games; I was talking about the entire season (of which
you're well aware, but attempting to sidestep). However you want to try to spin things to imagine yourself at the top of the heap... go for it!!

How can you not vote Utah #1 after this? They beat 4 ranked teams, and handled Alabama waaaaaay easier than #2 Florida did.

Oh, well - if you had told me we would go 12-2 and be in a BCS game - I woulda laughed in your face - disappointing way to end, but I got to look at the big picture! After what my family has been through, these last couple of weeks - this was a small thing and just a game - and I'll get over it.....eventually! I still love my boys!!!! OH - AND I WON THE UNDERDOG POOL!!! SO YAY ME! |

Thanks y'all! I just feel so bad for our small, but gutsy senior class - they have been through so much shit and I wanted them to go out on top!
But, like managerr said, 12-2 and in the Sugar Bowl is way better than 5-7, no bowl, and having Chizzik for a coach! I HAVE TO GO TO BED, but I can't - still seeing rampaging Utes in my head! |

I know you're the league commissioner or whatever. That's not a reason. You just have some overzealous control issues which you've obfuscated from
yourself but made painfully clear to everyone else.
I'm not going to control any league because, frankly, that sounds like cheating. Posting the running tallies as the bowls wind down is fun. I'm interested in knowing how things are shaping up and other people are too. I'm not claiming to be a league commissioner or claiming to have started this space for competition. I'm just a participant. |
