And because The Hills is exactly where I'd turn for updates from the world of atomic physics. The Lauren line is such a non-sequitor. Some of the placements seemed to be to set up another joke. The WWE clip, for example. I'm sure the only reason it was #4 was because they wanted to have Rick and Ridge reenact the scene--otherwise, top 5? Really? I was hoping they'd bring back Danny Noriega's "Some people weren't likin' it" but I guess that was so early in the year they figured people have already forgot about it.

They showed two other American Idol clips though, one was during the auditions, which was much earlier than Noriega, and the other was around the same time.

The clip I had totally forgotten about but made me laugh the hardest was America Ferrera reacting to all the Gossip Girl stuff, cracked me up the first time and in the countdown.

So many hilarious possibilities for Joel, I'm shocked none were used. Oprah & Bromance definitely should have been cut. And orgasmic birthing lady was definitely NOT necessary. shudders WTF, Anthony Bordain??? I never would have expected the words "Ryan Secrest's love juice" to ever come out of his mouth. Icky. I guess I'm the only one who watches The Today Show regularly (well, I have it on in my home office all morning and half watch it). I like Matt, Meredith & Anne and even kooky Al & bizarre Willard. I've been watching them for so many years, I just can't watch anything else. Added bonus that the last year or so you never know what craziness will be caught on camera. I think they started spiking the coffee or water over there when they added that fourth hour.
