Most interesting standout events: - Courteney Cox being infintely better than Heather Graham <3 - Ted getting a lot of screentime and focus in both episodes <3333 - Zach, Donald, and Glynn Turman knocking the second episode out of the park <333333333 Take that, Grey's Anatomy! Fuck off, too! - The new Chief of Staff randomly firing Janitor <3 I don't know why, but for some reason, I like that the Janitor was finally knocked down a peg. He'll be back, though. - Kelso still sticking around the hospital after retiring <3 - @ Jordan's botox wearing off and looking at her deflated face. - The Indian guy from Human Giant being on the show <3 They should have brought over Rob Heubel, Paul Scheer, and Rob Riggle to do guest spots as well. - No mention of The Todd all night <//3. The Todd should always be a permanent fixture on this show. Fuck you, ABC for trying to devalue The Todd! If that whore on Grey's can fuck a ghost and the tweenies can fuck in the shower nude on One Life to Live, then you can certainly fucking deal with banana hammocks!

Yeah I read that too, since the budget is smaller this year they're compensating by having all of the cast take an episode off (I thought I had read it would just be one episode off per character, but that could be wrong). Due to some stuff going on in my apartment, I was a little in-and-out of the 2nd episode they aired, but I could have sworn that I at least saw the janitor in the episode. Wasn't there a scene where Courtney Cox's character finds him working in the hospital after she had fired him, and she tricks him into walking outside, and that's when he gives her the key he had made that unlocks everything? Or was that towards the end of the first episode? ETA - And oh yeah speaking of Heather Graham, anybody else find it funny that they essentially used the exact same joke with both her and Courtney Cox's characters? The one about how she has the ability to zero-in on somebody's insecurities? (Courtney Cox telling Jordan that she's old...Heather Graham mentioning Elliot's eyebrows...) That was the deal ABC made with scrubs in order to save money and put them on the network. So there will be a show that will at least miss one of the main characters. The dying guy show was obviously one of those episodes. But for what I loved was the "steak song" and the dance that went with it. I also love Jo she is so awful that it actually works. When she talked about going home with chubster and headbutting him, I almost peed a little.

I know they have had other shows where the focus is on the other characters and narrated from their perspective but JD has always began/ended the episode. I wonder if they will do a whole show around the new interns to give JD and members of the main crew an episode off.

But both episodes had a good mix of silliness and seriousness. Last season seemed a little juvenile to me. The doctor with no bedside manner was surpirsingly funny. I'm glad Scrubs is back and I hope it does better in the ratings and then they can tell NBC to suck it.

NBC's second hour of "Biggest Loser" showed growth with a 7.6/11 for second place. "Scrubs," in a double-header at its new home on ABC took in a 4.0/6, ahead of FOX's "Fringe" repeat, 2.5/4. "Privileged" ended the night for The CW. Anybody know how this compares to the ratings they had on NBC in the past?

I loved the new characters, Jo and Blair (yourwelcome)! And Courtney Cox is going to be a bitch! LOL! But I think she is only on for 3 episodes so next week it it for her. My hubby who gives me shit for loving this show even laughed at times so that means it is funny! But I already know that! Looking forward to next week and I'll be rewatching last nights episodes again... can't get enough. Hope it kicks NBC's ass on ABC.

You think that he's holding JD's ashes but then the camera pans to Rowdy, who is next to a stuffed JD. That was awesome. At the beginning, the first episode felt kind of weird and bad, but then it just got good and continued on with a great second ep. I love that Scrubs is back!

Both episodes were much better than I expected and I loved the end of the first episode when JD was giving his "no phoning it in" speech.

Has anybody heard anything about whether these two characters are supposed to return? I assume that The Todd will show up sooner or later, but not so sure about Nurse Shirley/Laverneagain.
