Yep, she's white and in the books owns Tara's Togs, which is a clothing store in a strip mall Bill owns eventually. Can't really say it's a
spoiler cuz I seriously doubt they'll go in that direction with her.
And dates Eggs, from high school...who is also white if i'm not mistaken. |

They mentioned that Lafayette has a cousin, but that was it. I assume the Tara from Tara's Togs isn't his cousin if she's white! I guess they
felt they had to give her a friend since she doesn't really seem to have any in the books.

I just finished the first book. Very very good, I need to go pick up the rest asap. I was very surprised at how closely the show followed the book, even with
some of the other changes (Lafayette, Tara, Amy, Jason's story and presence) it was still very faithful.
I loved some of the lines in the book though. Charlaine is a great writer. ::after Sookie digs the whole in the backyard when she's mad:: Sookie: What do you do when you're mad? Bill: I tear up trees......and hurt people.

I missed this entire thread cause I only got to watch the full season via downloading torrents a couple weeks ago.
Love it. That's all I'll say cause I'm sure its all been said already. GrenadeJumper, glad to hear that about the book cause I want to read them all, on my To Read in 2009 list. |
