They didn't tell us we were going to get hit with heavy blowing snow today. It's like a fucking blizzard out there. I just slid into the back of my
coworkers car and broke my tail lights and got a big dent in my fender. He had a big truck and didn't get any damage.
I'm so pissed off right now.

Never thought I'd say that I'm happy I left Chicago for Central Ohio (where it's cold with 1" of snow but it'll melt tomorrow). You guys
have been hammered. Please make it stop, as I cannot bear to imagine my 84 year old father pushing that snowblower even one more time.

Oh, GREAT... JUST what I needed. After spending an hour digging out my car yesterday (with the help of two neighborhood guys who saw me trying to do it)
thanks to some MF who decided to empty his plow on top of it, now I get to try to find a place off the snow route and hope it doesn't happen again. And
then MORE bitter cold in an apartment with a crappy heating system, lousy insulation, stone tile floors, and a condensation problem?! Looks like it's past
time for me to get the hell out of this area already.

I'm going down to the Jewel in a little while to stock up for the week. I'm not going out again until Friday - Cubs Convention at the Chicago Hilton.

I woke up this morning and found that it DIDN'T SNOW overnight. Imagine that!
Oh sure its cold out...13 degrees. Oh yeah and the wind is howling out there...but there's no blowing and drifting snow. Looks like they got one wrong. |

Thank you, Jebus. We only had an inch or two last evening. And my fantastic neighbor just got through clearing our driveway with his snowblower! No shoveling
today! However, it's just 11 degrees and the wind is blowing a gale, so I'll be staying in today. My nephew's flying back from a visit to Florida
today. LOL
