Moto/Ravu/Moto 2.0/Ravu 2.0/Bula Bula I really hated Fiji, if you haven't noticed. Aside from that, there's Aitutaki post-mutiny, Yaxha 2.0, and Airai
2.0

Aitu was boring as hell but my hatred for Raro made them seem a little better than they actually were
Koror and Kota are the only ones I can recall being bored to death by. |

I was never bored by Aitu. They are my favorite tribe in Survivor history so far!

La Mina was the most boring tribe by a mile.
La Mina vs. Cassaya on S12 was the biggest entertainment mismatch in Survivor history. Everybody on Cassaya was crazy or at least kind of quirky (once Melinda left of course. she was pretty normal ) on La Mine the most interesting episode was when Nick and Austin had the runs. Yeah that was exciting.

Or the Sally/Misty vs. Terry/Dan power struggle followed by Sally vs. Ruth Marie.

La Mina was bland but there was a reason for that: La Mina could have been Burnett's ideal tribe, a tribe that rallied behind one leader that had military
training facing what appeared to be the most dysfunctional tribe ever. According to Game Theory, La Mina should have destroyed Casaya. Since that didn't
happen, the story had to tell us where they failed. To achieve this, the editing took most of the emotions out of La Mina to present them like a machine where
only the numbers mattered.
(Note that their most touching moment was only shown in the recap where Sally opened up to Austin. Note also that Aras was presented as Casaya's leader in the recap.) As someone who analyzes Survivor strategy through Game Theory, it was refreshing to see Burnett, another proponent of Game Theory, acknowledging that Survivor was also a fun experience, that playing like a machine wasn't the best way to go. That you can have fights and let emotions flow like Casaya did but still rally together when it mattered. |

It also didn't hurt that Casaya actually benefited from losing the first IC after the tribe pick'em because they traded in Melinda for Bruce. If La
Mina had lost that IC and booted Misty or Ruth Marie to get Bruce, it would have been a lot less likely that Casaya would have had the numbers at the merger.
