There have to be sixteen interesting, diverse people among 4,000 applicants.

Maybe because that most people that apply are massive fans, so they realized that mactors always chosen so they decided to fuck it.

You said you contacted cbs and they said only 4000 applied last season. Who did you contact? I Know at our open casting call in syracuse last summer, only a
handful of people showed up, and so far no local casting call this year....

So at this point will they have already contacted people who've applied, about the interview process?

^ I would say that is a safe bet. If they are extending it then they must have not found anyone they liked

no, alot of people have showed for casting calls only 4000 app were sent in, according to lynn spillman the casting director, she says there has been a steady
decline in apps over the years.... ive applied since season 2, ive contacted old survivors, talked to them on the phone, i regularrly talk to lex. but ive
still no luck, so i really dont know what to say...

Stroudsburg, PA had a casting call last friday. I contacted the Promotions Director for the station that filmed the
auditions. She said that We had over 250 people show up for the auditions and 227 people
were taped. That is not exactly American Idol numbers, but about average from what I've seen
from past auditions.

I kind of doubt that cbs is going to be sharing that sort of info with some random person who emailed them. And that is one ugly ass tat.

if this is true it's really interesting. they haven't done satellite interviews since season 11. not to mention the fact that the survivor casting
offices are based out of the los angeles/santa monica region.
