The release is MTV asking you to allow your likeness and whatever to be publicized. That's why some of the random people the castmates encounter will have their faces blurred. Either they didn't sign the release or MTV didn't ask them to. Obviously for a gameshow like Big Brother or Survivor you sign the release before air.

Happens rarely, let's not focus on that. Do you think it's possible that MTV facilitated the call? It does give a good story line. :/ I've no idea what happened to Sarah, at the hand of her father, the daycare or her mother. Either way, she's clearly a little fucked up by it. Sad really. Her mother, in any case, seemed a little 'chant-y' to me. But I'm kinda impatient and bitchy, so maybe not.

So production wasn't necessarily ones that gave Sarah's father the contact information.

The Cancun cast will be assigned to work with the spring break resource site StudentCity.com to serve as guides for visiting college students, helping to, as Jonathan Murray puts it, "give people a safe and fun vacation."[1] So how many of the housemates end up getting fired for partying with the Spring Breakers? When a phone call first starts, a recording comes on and says "This call is being recorded for television broadcast. If you consent, please continue." You can hear it in JD's "plotting revenge" daily (below.) I heard it in some other vids too.
