I agree with Marquesan. This was laughable. And annoying. It was like watching someone's fan fiction win a contest to have their "story"
produced. That's how this whole thing played out - just giving the audience what they wanted. Those irritating shots of Adama SMUGGING his way through
scenes got old so fast. "Ooo I'm pwned! Well, the calvary is on its way LOLS". And the Adama/Roslin angst... bleh. I actually wanted Gaeta and
Zarek to win by the end, even though they're punks, because I was so tired of this crap. The best part though, was Zarek executing the Quorom! Good job FF

And Yes, Narcho was awesome standing up for what he believed, which is what everyone else was doing. Ridiculous name though. And Baltar, the cockroach, is the Sylar of this show. I usually like BSG because it seems oddly plausible for a space show. But this epi was a total space opera. |

I enjoyed the last two episodes, as it was something different, but I have to say Zarek's turn to the evil dark side was quite a quick one, especially
since they took three or four seasons to show us that he was a good guy at heart, who cared about the people.

Y'all are crazy, I thought it was another great episode. This show is so amazing.
Roslin's speech was chill-inducing...I think I rewound the DVR and rewatched it like...5 times at least.

I was never comfortable with the idea that a mutiny could metastazise into a rebellion so quickly, given what these people have been through under Adama --
that'd be like mutinying against Lord Nelson after Trafalgar. Sailors just don't do that.
Agreeance with the sentiment above that the lieutenant who said he simply hated Cylons was the realest moment of the eppie. They should've showed us such discontent among the crew prior to the mutiny starting. Plus I still hate that it was Gaeta, the formerly uber-loyal Gaeta who led it. That is indeed fanfic territory, espeicially given Zarek's recent redemption edit. Still, once I accepted what was going on, an outstanding resolution. Loved Roslin. Best female president of any series, anywhere. Anyone notice that SciFi plopped a spoiler in the opening credits? There was Adama standing in the airlock with the piece of paper on his chest from what turned out to be Baltar's dream. WTF would they do that? So what happens to all the marines and the Viper pilot who tried to shoot down Roslin? Do they get airlocked too? That's going to seriously ding up the ship's complement. Plus, and I hate to keep obssessing about this, there were at least two 8's hanging around the base ship, one of whom was dressed exactly like the first 8 who died in the webisodes. How many damn 8's are there? Note in the previews that they have Ellen emerging from a resurrection tub. I wonder if the toasters get their resurrection ship back for general usage. That'll throw a wrench in the humna/Cylon alliance. |

I figured Ellen waking up in the tub is a flashback filling in her backstory after getting killed in S3.

Yes, the episode was entertaining for what it was, but it seemed like a sidetrack. At this point all I want to see is the Cylon story moved along. As in what
is Cavil up to, etc? That's a fire fight I want to see. This mutiny ish has been stretched to its limits. I know all sides of this can't really walk
into the sunset holding hands, but a mass, fleet-wide mutiny apropos of Gaeta's stump!? WTF? Gah. "It stopped." ??? THANK YOU, Limpy McGee, can
we move on now?

I have loved the final three episodes! Last night's was Galatica back to form.
What if the Centurions travelled to Earth after they signed the armistice with the 12 colonies (we were told they the went to find a planet of their own), happened to come upon these other humanoid Cylons after they were wiped out by the nuclear attack, and managed to resurrect them. They could have gotten the idea to create their own skin jobs from these final 5, creating their 7. (The final 5 would then not be the final 5 cylons of this new generation as we've been lead to believe, but rather, the final 5 cylons still alive from the original generation of Cylons on Earth. Same name, different meaning).I do want to discuss this theory. It seems very plausible that the Centurions made 7 skin jobs from the 5 originals that were wiped out on Earth. But I also had hoped that Ellen was talking about reincarnation and not downloading. And I'm not convinced as to whether Earth was the final tribe or the original tribe. My thought is that the 12 tribes have their history confused. How old was the civilization on Kobul? And they still haven't explained why they all left that planet. It was still habitable. |

It was a great episode. I'm glad they humanized Gaeta's mutiny more in this episode. It was a good send off for the character.

That's not really a fair comparison though because the bulk of the Bounty mutineers escaped to Pitcairn Island. Plus none of them were professional Royal
Navy types except for Bligh. That was primarily a scientific voyage remember.
What do you all think was going on with the rip marks that Tyrol saw in the engine room? Is the hull breeching? |

I think it's a sign that the ship (which was already old and never intended to be lived on going through space for years anyway) isn't going to be able
to withstand many more FTL jumps.
Maybe the cylon basestar will be the new Galactica =O |

That's quite likely the case. Talk about a test of relations if the Cylons, in effect, become the executive/military leaders of the fleet.
