38. Danni sides with the top of the pecking order at the F6.

It's scary (funny) how true the selected quote is. This was certainly true as Danni continued to linger. From the beginning of the merge it looked like NuYaxha would suffer a sure Pagonging. But then, SURPRISE! Jamie gets blindsided, and then Danni wins immunity at the F6. Before that, though, she planted the seeds for a bit of a shift in power. When she, Rafe, and Lydia were exiled to the old Yaxha camp, she began talking to Rafe about taking out Judd because he wans't trustworthy. She argued that she had not lied at all while Judd had. Now Rafe had other reasons for wanting to do this (which will be addressed later on the list), but still, Danni realized something that I don't believe any other Survivor has. We've seen so many situations where the people on the bottom of an alliance refuse to jump because they're cowardly retards (eg. Denise). It wasn't entirely clear who was on the bottom here (but it's probably Lydia, who didn't seem to want to budge), but it was certainly clear who was on the top, and Danni went to those players. You all know what happens next. Danni wins immunity, and the scumbags blindside Judd. The best part of this is that she gets herself into a F3 alliance with Rafe and Steph.

Reasons not higher: She had to rely on immunity. And on a side note, can someone please explain to me what exactly was going on with that weird conversation between Judd and Lydia? The only thing I got out of it was that Danni ratted Judd out to Steph when he said "we all know who the power players are, and we have to take them out."

Let it be known that I actually don't really like Danni, and I don't think she was that great of a winner. And as for Amanda, I've already defended her a bunch against her haters, and the debate never goes anywhere, so I'm not going to bother. If Ken wants to defend her here, he can go right ahead. Yes, I'm a huge Amanda fan, but I just like Rob more.

37. Jenna gives Heidi the Immunity Necklace at the F6 to ensure that Rob would vote out Christy.

This quote doesn't really have to do with Jenna giving Heidi immunity, but it's what set up her plan to do so. After Rob betrayed Twigs and Sticks at the last tribal, he went to a still furious Jenna and confessed to her that she would be a great goat for him, but he handled it pretty well when she went blabbing about it to the rest of the tribe. Anyways, this confirmed something to Jenna: Rob did not want her to go home, though the same could not be said about Heidi. It seemed to be common knowledge that Heidi was on the block and that she would be next unless she won immunity (or was given it, I guess), but, from her and Jenna's prospective, that may or may not have changed when Rob came to them with the plan to blindside Christy. The point is, Jenna took a risk, and it paid off, because Rob would not vote her out, and she ensured that her closest ally was still in the game (and who would be used as a "buffer" next round). This move, in addition to her immunity streak, arguably won her the game.

Reasons not higher: There's a good chance Rob would have voted out Christy anyways, and if this had fucked up then it'd go down on the books right next to Erik's big blunder.

I forget where, but I'm pretty sure it was confirmed somewhere that Cirie knew Amanda had the idol before she played it. I think reason she voted for her was so that she could maintain some sort of "closeness" to the fans, and maybe that was actually useful when Cirie had to mindfuck Erik into giving up immunity.
