I wouldn't say the theme is the best ever! I believe it is just good... it gets sorta dragging after a while. But it still does sound good, I just feel the
ending could've been better. Someone said earlier that they didn't like the cook islands yell in between, but I feel the yell is what makes
Debbie's intro so good.

I agree. Tocantins takes other survivors and uses the parts in unique places to make the theme familiar and come together. In fact that cook islands yell
should have been used just for tocantins. It suits it better.

I don't know why, but iTunes does not sell the original season 1 soundtrack. I heard about 1,000,000 times when the show was just starting, but havent
heard it since, and would love to hear it again.
I guess it would be available on Amazon? |

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they just added additional clips to replace Carolina's shot. Hope they keep it like that because it sounds better that way.

Yeah it didn't sound like they chopped it up this time, but I thought I actually heard some new elements that weren't there in episode one
(specifically some new "chanting" towards the end, around Candace's intro). I'll have to compare the two once the new one is up on YouTube.

Dislike that they're taking the cast intro shots out one by one again this season. It was never a problem prior to Micronesia, so why did they start fixing
it? The theme isn't bad this season - different from most of the previous themes. It's softer, not as loud sounding while still keeping the Ancient
Voices beat unlike horrible Gabon's. Gabon's didn't even sound like the accustomed Survivor theme. I think that the theme of the intro theme is
rather unique this season, with a focus on the location - native calls, rattle snakes... And really up to a person's personal taste too, whether they love
it or hate it.

I had never heard this rendition of Kurski Funk before, but it has some really interesting chants and percussion sections in it that I could see making their
way into a future theme. (I downloaded it using my emusic.com subscription) Kinda weird but it grows on you.
