I think it goes both ways. The effeminate gays are demanding that the more masculine gays be more accepting of them. They're like two totally different types of people. I have effeminate gay friends, some, anyway. But I'd never be sexually attracted to anyone like that. I don't condemn Spencer for not wanting to be associated with that stereotype either.
And, Katy, I've heard plenty of lesbians comment on their level of "butchness."
