Posts: 2479 (02/25/09 5:22 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	amanda <3 one of her most underrated moves was using her psychotic telepathic powers to mind control erik into sending parv to exile and taking her to reward at final 5. without that, the favourites would not have made final 3 and erik would probably win the game O_O

Posts: 134 (02/25/09 9:04 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Final 5 in Micronesia was the only time ALL SEASON LONG that Amanda played well (not counting F6/idol thing, because anyone with a pulse could find the idol, hence Jason and Ozzy, and anyone with a brain would be smart enough to play it after what happened to Jason and Ozzy). There's only one move left that could possibly be construed as Amanda making a good move, and that's getting Erik to take her on reward AND send Parvati to Exile. It wasn't about finding the idol, either.. it was about how she hid it from them and played it perfectly. And at the same time, that's when she began to ruin Erik's chances in front of the jury, so that helped the F5 scheme too. And up until the Ozzy boot, Amanda had her perfect alliance. In her four clique, each of the other 3 (Ozzy, James, Parvati) all felt closest to Amanda, and she had her final 3 deal with Cirie/Parvati, knowing Ozzy/James were too popular. As entertaining as it is, Survivor isn't all about alliance-flipping and blindsides, but there's nothing wrong with playing a solid and loyal game.

She was Parvati's bff, Ozzy's girlfriend, and James' buddy from last season. Parvati only flirted with James, not hooked up with him. Both were closer to Amanda. She was at the top of the pecking order of a dominant alliance. That said though, I can guarantee that she won't be on here just for being in a good position in an alliance, because a shit load of people have done that. She is, however, part of the black widow brigade, who worked together, and I don't think it's concealing much in saying that they will reappear a bit more. Except that Parv MEANT the final 3 deal, while Amanda was content to stick with her friend, James, and her boyfriend, Ozzy.

Yeah, but once they started to re-hide HII's, they made it ridiculously easy to find them. How she handled the HII was impressive, but again, anyone with a brain would've done what she did.

Here's the next one... 16. Assisted by Cirie and Courtney, Danielle blindsides Bobby. Quote: "We made the wrong decision tonight, Danielle. And we made that decision because of your personal feelings, period." -Shane Powers Casaya, one of the most dysfunctional/hilarious tribes in Survivor history, seething <3. This episode, and the 3-2-1-1 vote at TC proves what a clusterfuck the tribe was. The original majority of Casaya, plus Cirie, were discussing who to vote off after they lost the IC. Aras wanted to keep his original tribemate, Bobby, while Shane wanted to keep his original tribemate, Bruce. After debating the issue, the group agreed to spare Bobdawg and boot Bruce. Then we see Bruce, who's gunning for Courtney. Danielle, though, thought the girls weren't getting a fair say. It was Bruce, Shane, and Aras doing all of the scheming, and they wanted to switch things around and take control of the game by blindsiding Bobdawg, and the best part was...they were the minority and they still pulled this off. I give Cirie and Courtney credit here because they helped talk Shane into throwing away his vote instead of voting for Bruce, and the let Bruce carry on voting for Courtney. That's two throw away votes and two votes for Bruce, but no one has three votes so boom...bye bye Bobby. Reasons not higher: No clue. Nothing bad about it...I just liked other stuff better.

Bobby leaving was only good for her and maybe Courtney, so she does deserve props. I've just always attributed Bobby leaving to luck more than anything else because of the clusterfuck Casaya. I mean I don't remember either of them try to get Shane to throwaway his vote, but all Danielle had to do to assure numbers was get Bruce to vote for Bobby. It shouldn't have been too hard when Bobby was voting for him, but she couldn't even pull that off. Way too high.
