I think Coach really is a steven seagall stunt double, whose personality in no way reflects his actions on the show. Now that Steven isn't really working anymore, CBS comes in and offers 1.1 million dollars for him to act like Michael Scott and eventually be voted out for lack of any good strategy or social awareness. Accordingly, we have a great survivor character who really is too good TV to be true.
