15. Tom and Ian use Caryn and Katie to blindside Gregg.

I bet some of you will think this is too high, but the quote is just part of the reason it makes it this far. We've seen time and time again in Survivor that a lot of people might decide to "play it safe" in this situation, in the words of Denise Martin. However, Tom and Ian realized that this was their last chance to seize power in the game, and they took full advantage of it. When Katie sided with Gregg in the coconut chop challenge over Ian and Ian conveyed his fears to Tom, the two brought in Caryn as a third vote. Although they were ready to risk a seemingly sure tie at the next TC, Ian made his final good move in the game (because we all know he imploded at the F5) and cornered Katie into voting with him. This turned the tide on the game completely. Ian basically got Katie back in his side for good, and had he not started being retarded, he could have got to the F3 with his original alliance (MUCH more easily) and possibly even won the game. Although Tom won anyways, the road to his victory was still a bit rocky from this point, but with a jury/immunity threat now out of contention, his win was easier than it would have been if Caryn went home instead.

Reasons not higher: To a certain point, this was just Tom/Ian following a simple, unspoken rule of Survivor that any alliance greater than four people should break up before the final five. And also, it didn't take a genius to realize that something had to be done when the first three members out of a coconut chop challenge are pissed off because the top three are on a cruise with their loved ones.
