I didn't know if it was true. Why do people think that in the first place?

I don't know how great Rob taking out Christy even was for him, and I don't think it's anywhere near the top 10 level of this list...especially over moves like Fairplay at the final 4 (yep, I'm going to keep bringing that up until ss01 explains why it was so low.) Christy got herself voted out. No one else outsmarted her; she just played terribly during the final 6. I thought Rob played a great game, but he doesn't deserve any credit for that move. Jenna and Heidi would have voted for him over Matt anyways. |

Its interesting. Vee was quite a bit of a flip flopper. I mean no one really notices that since the current season a lot of the alliances have been in
complete flux. I thought it was interesting how she completely ditched Rob and Sean when they switched over.
No one ever credits Vee for using her "book of poetry" as an advantage. I liked how she just took notes on every player for the final 4 immunity challenge. That is what I call smart planning. Its so sad that fallen comrades is completely removed from survivor |

It was one person saving his ass for one extra day, and while the way he did it was great and there was nothing really bad about it, I think there are other, more impressive things. Feel free to disagree. I hardly expect anyone to agree with me on everything. The reason I put Rob blindsiding Christy so high was because it was so unique, out of the blue, yet extremely beneficial. Christy's retardation is what put her on the chopping block in the first place, but it also put Rob on the chopping block. Also, I think it was more stupid on Christy's part only in hindsight. We had never really seen two groups that had so much tension band together to oust a common enemy. |

Vecepia is so underrated <3
I loved her F4 and F3 moves, and Rob's play at the F6 in the Amazon was just gold.. He kept the men in the majority, while taking out a possible swing vote. It was also a good play on Jenna's side too I suppose, so it's win-win. |

Feel free to disagree. I hardly expect anyone to agree with me on everything. You might have, and I just missed it. Still, him saving himself was 20 times more impressive than say...Jenna and Heidi staying one more round. He not only kept himself safe, but he made the dynamics so that he wasn't even a target of any of the three women who hated his guts. solesurvivor01 wrote:Even if Christy voted with Jenna and Heidi, the best they could do was tie, so I don't consider Rob on the chopping block that much. And that's not true about Christy being the first to go out like that. Gabe leaving was the exact same situation where he wouldn't give either side a straight answer and got ousted because of it. You never tell someone you don't know what you are doing, and you especially don't tell both sides. |

Quiddity wrote:It was bad on paper for the fans + Cirie (she has two autolock votes Ozzy/James and needs only one more to pull off a tie/victory if the other players both get votes, that is, if it was going to be F3, like they all expected). Cirie stuck with it as she was closer to Alexis/Eliza than Parvmanda and had a legit shot at Erik/Jason's votes too, from their point of view at least. Now people see how failtastic she is, if she's ever on a third season, everyone will try to drag her to the end. |

I'm gonna guess Fiji's Edgardo blindside and Cassandra TRYING to blindside Yau-Man which only failed because Dreamz and Stacy are retarded.

Jack Sparrow got it! I've always thought Vanuatu was a rather underrated season. I'm sure I'm going to get criticism for these two moves (or
maybe why they're this high), but yeah, let's see...
8. Chris, Twila, Scout, and Eliza unite to overthrow the women's alliance. Quote: "You question a woman's character, you question a woman's ability, she'll snap your neck. You open up your heart, show a woman you're vulnerable, that's when they start thinking with their heart. That's when they open up that back door." -Chris Daugherty This was perhaps my favorite episode of all time. It had a family visit, which is always nice, Queen Ami won immunity, and we saw one of, if not the BIGGEST POWER SHIFT IN SURVIVOR HISTORY! What I will say is that Scout and Twila deserve more credit. Scout came up with the idea of siding with the men several days before, but Twila came up with the exact way to put the plan into action (which was rather ingenious) at the F7. After she explained it to Chris, he needed to deliver, which he did flawlessly, and Eliza had to put two and two together and NOT run back to Ami and Leann. What was truly genius about this was that Scout and Twila were able to work with Eliza to reach a common goal, and they did that through Chris, who bridged them all together. I'm not going to write about each even that led up to it because this is probably the episode I've watched more than any other, and I could write about it forever, but you all know what happened, anyways.
7. Ami blindsides Dolly and her alliance proceeds to take control of Yasur. "I'm feeling...caught in the middle." -Dolly Neely Okay, call me subjective, unfair, or whatever you want. I still think this move is that great, and it absolutely deserves to be this high. It's when I first fell in love with Ami. I've already explained why I think "Christy-ing" someone is brilliant, and I think this was pretty similar. The difference was that whereas Rob would have had a majority even with Christy, Ami did not have Dolly, and she was able to use Eliza to blindside the farm girl. From what I've heard, basically Ami went up to Leann and Eliza and said something like, "I really like you both, and I don't want either of you to go, so we can just boot Dolly." Was Eliza legitimately on the chopping block? Probably not, but Ami was able to take advantage of Dolly's simple comment that "I don't know who to vote for," and exposed Eliza's paranoia that would become a theme all season long. On a sidenote, something I found really funny about Vanuatu was what Eliza pointed out herself: If you want to get voted out, target Eliza. Anyone who targets her gets voted out. But anyways, the fact that there were five people ready to boot Leann, and the alliance of four (the older girls) got control by of the tribe by booting Dolly and then scaring Lisa into voting out Mia the next episode is just proof of Survivor's excellence. John Caroll would probably suggest that alliances of four don't work with nine people, but Ami, Twila, Leann, and Scout proved him wrong. Here's what's coming next... |

I think that the Leann blindside should outrank the Dolly blindside, but factoring in the pro-Ami bias, I think it worked out pretty evenly =)
I hope I got at least one right! |
