Remove this ad I keep hearing people say that Probst only likes Coach for his entertainment value. But I don't know... Everything I've read sure sounds like Probst is truly enamored with coach as a legendary competitor. I just can't find anything in coach to support such a view. I do know that the reunion show is going to suck big time.

If that was what he cared about he'd love johnny fairplay, which he clearly does not. He gets to act like this is about entertainment value, when everything Coach represents (the delusional alpha male who is his own biggest fan) goes into what Jeff sees as important for Survivor. In his new blog he talks about how Tyson wanting to punch someone in the head is TV Gold. I think it's a dime a dozen reality show comment, and if that's what Survivor had been built on, the show would have only lasted a few seasons. But that type of stuff is what Survivor seems to mean to Jeff now, if his blogs are any indication. It's the "it's so bad, don't you just love it," type of mentality, where ego and overly rehearsed posturing are supposed to be real and honest and anyone who doesn't hump the camera is unworthy. When he was whining about Brendan being the "leader," he said that once Brendan was gone he can be the leader. Coach would rather be the leader of a shitty tribe than be a just a member of a good strong tribe. Way to be a team player, JACK-OFF.

Also, let's not forget that Probst is the guy who thought Savage was a great Survivor instead of the annoying douchebag we all thought he was. Probst also called Bob's win "inspiring" instead of "tragic ending to what could have been a great season because the psychotic chick who fucks junkies has daddy issues". It's all about proof in the pudding. Again, not the attitude a real "Coach" would give off. Thankfully they didn't give us too much Coach (well, any footage at all is too much Coach) beyond the opening 10 minutes or so.

I've really just fuckin had it with this shit. It's not exciting to watch anymore, and I think we need to boycott this show at some point if Jeff is gonna keep this bullshit up of trumping absolute trainwrecks up so that they get all the airtime and all the reunion time and all the favoritism while yet another female contestant gets treated like shit.
