They didn't pimp her AT ALL, Dogpillow. She was hardly seen before tonight, sang 5th out of 12 (not exactly the pimp spot that Adam got), isn't that good looking and her interview with Ryan was incoherent. She was voted into the top 12 for just one reason: she was the best female singer of the night, by a mile. They may have overpraised her a little because she followed 4 consecutive awful performances, but they overpraised Megan also and she didn't make it (Megan fans can console themselves a little, because she'll surely be in the Wildcard).

Completely and utterly wrong. The judges were so much more positive towards her than any other female singer it was sickening.

Judges Thoughts : (P) Tonight you picked the right song. The camera is in love with you. You did everything right. (S) You look gorgeous. It started off really well and then you over sang the second part of the song. I hope America votes for you though. You stand out, you are relevant and current. (R) Big fan of yours. I am interested to see you in the other rounds. It was a nice job. (K) You are a package artist. With the right song you could be a breakout artist on the radio.

So to Megan- You were ok, and youre cute. This is hardly a ringing endorsement.

Get comfortable on stage but you have serious chops. (P) I think you could sing the telephone book. You are by far the best we have heard so far tonight. (S) Your the best tonight by a clear mile. The competition just started right now. Boring upstairs with Ryan and on stage you turned into a completely different person.

It isn't listed here but I am almost sure they also compared her favorably to Kelly Clarkson. I mean seriously. If that isn't the definition of overpimping I dont know what is.

Just for fun, I listened to her performance yet again. And I still hate it- she shrieks the chorus every time.
